I’ve watched enough of Joe Milton to know what he is, and that’s not a NFL QB.

That being said, I hope Dak pulls something and misses the opener, so we can all put this Joe Milton stuff to rest against the defending champs.

I’m talking about the game last night which you didn’t watch. You haven’t seen anything anybody else hasn’t seen prior.

I watched the game and he looked a lot better, I think the Cowboys did right by running the ball the 1st possession and got him in a groove and scoring a TD helped.
He made the right reads also. Being QB2 he's going to get some reps with the 1's which is only going to help him down the line. Fant laid the wood on that one run play.

He looked aware and under control except for running short of the line early on. Nobody is saying he’s great, but if people are going to pick apart and rail or even root against a player, as this miserable angry little poster seems to do, they need to have the nuts to give props when a player plays well or overall sthu.

Agreed and he probably would've had another passing TD if it wasn't for the PI
You'd think Vols fans would want Vols players to succeed, especially when it comes to QB's

I am rooting against Dallas Cowboy Joe Milton. I personally hope they make him the starter and give him starter money, because I hate Dallas.

That being said, I don’t root for Joe more than I do any QB who never played for a team I rooted for, because I hated watching him. Wish him well financially and in life, but on the football field I’d be indifferent at best and actively root against him as a Cowboy.

So many make statements in the heat of the moment and feel they would look weak or clueless if they admit they were wrong. So they double down on obviously incorrect stances thinking they will eventually be right enough to not look foolish.

It's not just your opinion, but the opinions of all those who are objective + informed. He's made some great throws into tight windows. Even in the preseason when teams are mostly playing backups and guys trying to make the team, it's another level above the best teams in college. Actually much higher because those FAs are giving it their all in those games trying to make the team

Normally when someone hits a nice putt, people say “nice putt” and move on to the next hole. Somehow if Milton hits a nice putt, some people feel obliged to say “yeah but you sliced the tee shot into the rough, left the iron short and chipped to the wrong side of the hole”.

I’ll never understand why people can’t just give the guy a little credit when things go right without bringing the hate.

I don't get it. It's not like he did like JG and go pout on tv once he got pulled. Dude was pure all about TN his whole time here.
He had the misfortunate of coming behind Hookers all star season and then had the $8million 5 Star Freshman behind him.

End of the day looks like he's going to be in the NFL another season with a chance to see some actually game time

So he got drafted, won a non-preseason game with the Patriots, is doing a decent job with the Cowboys, and yet you’ve determined he’s not a NFL QB?
