Joe Milton Looking Good with Cowboys!

Joe said why did anyone expect him not to ball in the game that he got a chance to play, also some starters did play the last game
Joe also said he didn’t lose in the state of Florida before he laid a Gator egg in Gainesville. The game meant nothing to Buffalo, so I’m not ready to say a lifetime of mediocre to bad play from Joe is negated by a decent performance in a meaningless game.

Consistency was his main issue in college. The Orange Bowl against Clemson was high level play from him. Yeah, he missed a bunch of throws long his senior season but maybe coaching and professional practice time have provided improvements to his consistency. Locking down a roster spot as QB2 in the NFL certainly is a first step.

Ok it's official, Joe throws bombs that take the WR's to the ground. No wonder Squirrel fell down when caught one of Joe's passes🤣🤣😁
It's a tough pill to swallow for some here, but Milton is much more of a NFL QB than Hooker. Everyone in the NFL has top end skills. EVERYONE. Milton's skill set is much more prolific than either Hooker or Dobbs. IOW, a much higher ceiling

He really didnt step into that throw either. He just threw a 75 yard bomb with an NFL ball using only his bazooka lmao!! NFL balls are much bigger than college in diameter and harder to throw that far due to wind resistance (drag). He likely has the strongest arm in the NFL and thats a huge achievement. Proud of Joe. GBO

I tend to agree. Joe has always been an elite practice QB, even fooled CJH.

He may not excel but there are good to great college players who don’t do much in the nfl and others who are better nfl players than college. It’s a different game and theres no limit on time spent practicing/film due to ncaa regulations and student duties.

oh I agree. He's more of a pro style QB. I and a few others said he may be better in the Pros, than in college. Hooker may not even have a spot this year, we can hope though

Milton has all the NFL tools. He will get his shot, as he should.
Hooker looked absolutely unprepared when the lights came on. Hooker looks like he's not added any muscle to his frame. 🤷

He gets a chance at redemption this week but yeah you're right about his weight
