Joe Milton discussion after game 1

It looks like Milton is a one read QB. If that receiver is not open immediately he appears not to know what to do with the ball.

I think Milton played very well, for the most part, and except for placement and timing of some long passes, we couldn't ask for a better starting performance.

You're probably right. Milton isn't the problem with the offense against BGSU. It's everyone else on the offense.

That last lass attemp by Milton, the 1 yard pass to the WR at the top of the screen, that would have been a pick six against any SEC defense. Jusy like last year against Kensucky. He is definitely looking like JG 2.0

I never understood the hype. He literally got here after the spring game. I didn’t see how it was possible

The score was like 59-30 last time we played them and that was supposed to be a much better team than we have this year. I'm not saying we are firing on all cylinders but I'm already happier with milton than I was with jg.
