Most of you know who Joe is as a person, but if you don't please watch the video in the link below.

He could have easily transferred to a smaller school and been a starter, but he decided to stay with Heupel and the team. I have MUCH respect for him for doing so. Most in his shoes wouldn't have stayed.

His support for his brother Hooker is also very admirable.

This Vandy game would have been a lot scarier if Joe wasn't here. He's prepared himself to run this offense.

Thank you for being a true Vol Joe and pushing through adversity. It's your turn and we need you, now go kill Candy and win a bowl!

Bazooka Joe for sure!! His arm was never the question. Heck, that's gotta be how he won the job to begin with last year. Even CJH was in awe!!

Hopefully he has learned and improved backing up Hooker for these 2 seasons nad stay cool when the lights come on for real.

Hopefully, he learned to take some off on the wide open bombs. His pass to Squirrel was just amazing.

He seems that he has heard the complaints about running out of bounds against ole miss and about how he used to turn to avoid hits. He really seems to have made it a point when i've seen him to run to not just totally avoid contact but to actually run over some people. Now, we can't afford for him to get hurt this year but i definitely noticed the difference in how he is running.

We all have the utmost respect for where Hendon has brought us but now it is Joe's turn to shine.

It has been a really tough few days after that horrible Sat nite in Columbia but i really hope, Joe can show that he can lead this team against vandy, win a bowl and be the Man next year.

I think we need to get him involved running early. Feel like that will open it up for him and give him confidence

He has improved since last year. If nothing else, he has shown not to shy away from contact. Now, whether the staff calls plays that minimize that or not, who knows? But he has that threat and vandy will have to respect it. I hope he pops some big ones and the Vols look like they did 2nd half of the Mizzou game.
