"The SEC refs are the best in the nation." Yeah, they really showed that today. Particularly in the last 2 minutes of the game.

The charge they called on Marcus Thorton when Lofton slid under him was one of the two or three worst calls I've seen all season.

I think its a lie to say that college basketball refs are ever good. Every game that I watch there are bad calls. Multiple bad calls and in crucial situations. It seems as tough every game I'm yelling, "WHAT?" at a horrendous call.

What about all of those phantom fouls they've called the past two games against Fla. and MSU.

Officiating in the SEC is as unpredictable as ever as far as keeping the game flowing. You either have not enough calls to keep the game under control or the other extreme exists. Surely somewhere there are some guys that can work a game.

Its just a matter of some schmo shooting his mouth off about something that he has no clue about.
