JJ Peterson's status, requirements and timetable after classes begin

Let's be honest. Even if he does make it in and cleared, he won't impact much unless we get the injury bug (knock on wood)

Everyone I know is getting ready for him to attend school.

Is it possible he was the number 11 seen at practice yesterday? Wouldn't he be able to practice with the team if he cleared his academic hurdles and is already registered at the school? I would assume the NCAA would allow him to do the acclamation period if he is only waiting on Clearing House right? The only issue would be if he is actually able to play a game due to the NCAA Clearing House requirements correct?

Depends. Was #11 seen at practice yesterday in pads? If so it wasn't JJ. He'll have to go through the NCAA acclamation process of no pads for a few days prior to putting pads on..

If he makes it in tomorrow it's a good thing, if he makes grades his first semester it's a great thing!

I loved it ...I believe without that thread we would have ended up with Schiano..It was home-base for individuals who ended up writing letters to Bev etc and spreading outrage on social media. How do we post gifs on this new site btw..Anyone?

You can just copy and paste now. Very easy, no need to know formatting or command lines.

Get JJ ready during cupcake weeks vs. ETSU and UTEP and primed for Florida game. He will not be here entire four years so get as much out of him as you can.

He can and will make a difference, when, too early to tell, but he's a 5 star with talent, don't forget that

I expect him to be red-shirted this year, but to play in 4 games under the new redshirt rule. It will take him a while to get acclimated, but I would be surprised to see him playing substantially in some of the last games of the season. Does anyone know if a bowl game is considered one of the 4 games allowed or is it extra?

Why will it take him a while to get acclimated? I'm sure he has had the playbook for some time now.

When it is announced by the coaching staff or the administration that he is on campus, I'll believe it then. I have no faith in some half assed talking head.

Just practicing with the team, knowing the plays, having missed spring and summer, plus he’s been rehabbing a shoulder. Maybe he won’t need time, but chances are he’ll have a learning curve.

No reason to be a dick. World ain't ending if I believe John Gruden will be our Head coach Saturday against WV.

I still think its funny how bad it bothers some of you. Lol.
I sat at my desk and laughed! Having said that, anyone that ever thought Gruden was coming and then writes a sob story like that deserves all the abuse they get.
