Arguably one of the best WR we have had since him. David Ricky was good, Hunter was good... both drop balls and won games. However, JJ just has that "it" that Robert had.
Size and speed. Not to mention blocking.

Anyways I've fanboyed enough.

JJ has a big game we win. End of point.

I would like to see the deep ball thrown on the opening play... depending on coverage.

Id like to see him get involved on a couple of trick passing plays considering he was a QB in high school. Pretty sure he was the one that threw the TD to Dobbs last year.

Different wrs, never would compare them. One is big and Physical and the other seemed more like a Malone build. Either way go vols.

He did the throwback to Dobbs vs Florida last year. And tried it again this year.

He was. I believe they tried it again against Florida, but they had it covered this time!

Why wouldn't you compare them? They were both our #1s... physically they are almost the same & both our "game changes."

I'll hang up now

They aren't physically the same. He was a burner. Flat out run by you. Jennings is the guy who will go up and fight for the ball. He is a strong, physical receiver with pretty good speed.

JJ has always reminded me of Carl Pickenssince I first saw him play. Same intensity, size, and fearlessness. But mostly it the way JJ makes cuts and runs with his feet low to the ground that looks like him. Maybe Jennings matches his legend. He has a good start for sure.

BTW ... Old guy alert for all you yunguns.

I don't think we've ever had a wr as physical as JJ. He can make all the catches and then straight lay you out.He's bad. That guy could play both ways easy

Malone=Meachem

Jennings=Da'Rick

Malone reminds me more of Meachem as well. Similar stature and speed. Not just because they have the same number either. Good problem to have deciding who is more like Robert Meachem. If we get Williams going, look out.

JJ has the chance to do it for more than one season. He also seems to welcome contact without the ball. Don't remember Meachem being that physical

He's definitely turning into a weapon. I think with a more consistent throwing QB he could put up similar numbers to Meachem.

Meachem and Jennings are completely different.

Jennings goes all out. Meachem could just run by you.

I don't think we've had a guy like Jennings. So tough and competitive. And clutch!

Probably runs a 4.6 at best, but he's fearless and long with great hands and instincts.

"Carl Pickenssince...my precious"....couldn't help but read your typo in Gollum's voice.

Cordarrelle Patterson is the best WR we've had since Meachem. Oh, to have had him here for 3 years...

I would take Juan Jennings over Meachum every day of the week and twice on Sunday

Juan Jennings is the type of guy that should be playing on both sides of the ball. He's just a helluva football player.

In case yall cant tell, I really like Juan. :rock:
