Jimmy Hyams on Garner and Orgeron.

Jimmy Hyams just said on the Sports Source that he did not like the hire of Orgeron. said he has to many "off field issues" that would hurt the team in the long run and was a big risk for UT.

He also trashed the potential hire of Garner. Said He doesn't care for him and he has questionable recruiting tactics. Also mentioned that he and Garner got into it when he was coaching at UT and does not like him at all.

That's great, everything Hyams says is wrong anyway. I always believe the opposite. I hope Garner kicks his ass.

Hyams is banned from this site man law stated. Please do not post what the moron says here. He knows nothing about sports. He has no inside information. And I am told he smells. Thank You for your compliance. Mods can we delete this thread for the betterment of the board.

Hyams is a moron plain and simple. He's also mad that he can't be an insider anymore since Fulmer left.

Hyams thinks these are bad hires. I think that pretty much confirms they are terrific.

Hymens just confirmed the obviuos. That his objectivity as a journalist is compromised by personal matters, whether it be his good ol boy status with the old regime or his personal differences with current and possible staffers.

I wish he would have been a man and actually said what those "words" were that he and RG had.

My biggest problem with Hyams is inconsistency. He has criticized this staff to no end and they haven't even stepped on the field yet he stood on the sideline with his pom-poms cheering as the UT program went down like the Hindenburg with Fulmer and Co.

Being critical (or not being critical) is fine, its his business but at least try to appear to be fair. He has chosen sides, he can live with the consequences.

If Garner is a "dirty" recuiter, while did Philiip have him on staff?

Why would Mark Richt have Garner on his staff if he was bad news? Isn't Richt considered a Christian man with good priniciples ???

since Fulmer has been gone. Nothing but bitter remarks with a few I hope they do well comments in there in certain spots. Amazing what happens to people when their inside sources start dwindling away.

I agree. I always liked listening to Matthews but his resentment for the Fulmer force out overflows everytime he speaks of UT football now days.

Fulmer forced himself out by not doing what Lane is doing right now. Lane is hiring coaches that could be HC's elsewhere if they chose to. Fulmer didn't want to EVER hire a possible successor, thus protecting his butt.

OMG, I can't stand Jimmy Hyams now. AKA Kermit the Frog!!

Ever since Fulmer left he had been so negative. Even when we were doing the coaching search he'd shoot down anybody's recommendation whether valid or not and just laugh at them.

I totally realize that the Sports Frog is part of the Vol Network, but I hope Kiffin and Co are keeping up with this crap. Citadel Broadcasting shouldn't be granted a single interview from anyone on this staff. I do remember reading where Layla enjoys reading the press and listening to sports talk, so I'm sure Lane's very aware who's the biggest douche applicator in town.
