Jimmy Kimmel Preparing Sensational Return To TV After Being Suspended indefinitely over Charlie Kirk comments​


Jimmy Kimmel is working with ABC's parent company Disney to bring his late-night show back after it was indefinitely suspended due to his monologue about Charlie Kirk, according to insiders.

Three sources with knowledge of the conversations told Variety that compromises are in the works for Jimmy Kimmel Live! to return to television.

Sinclair, the media corporation that owns multiple ABC affiliate stations, previously called on the host to apologize and donate to Kirk's organization, Turning Point USA.

Sources familiar with the conversations told Variety that it's unclear what conditions Kimmel would return under, and whether he has decided to apologize or make the donation that Sinclair demanded.

That's not the issue.

The issue revolves around the coercive threats of punitive action that the federal government (in the form of FCC Chairman Brendan Carr) made against ABC prior to "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" being suspended indefinitely. Brendan Carr gave ABC an ultimatum to either take punitive action against Jimmy Kimmel, or the FCC would take punitive action against them. When Carr did that, he infringed upon Jimmy Kimmel's freedom of speech and violated the 1st Amendment. Of course, ABC can take Jimmy Kimmel off the air, but it has to be THEIR decision. That decision can not be made and enforced by the federal government, and it also can not result from a coercive threat of punishment from the federal government either. That is exactly what happened here.

Once again ..... without the threats made by Brendan Carr, there is nothing to see here. Everything revolves around those threats made by Carr, and you are conveniently, and ignorantly ignoring them. Brendan Carr is the elephant in the room. You can't ignore his role in this controversy.

A lot of right-wingers (Brendan Carr included) are calling Jimmy Kimmel "black face" because of this impression of Karl Malone .... but Kimmel asked Karl Malone if he could do this and Malone not only gave him permission, but Malone also made an appearance as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and they laughed about it together. Karl Malone thought it was funny. This is RIDICULOUS.

I don't think Americans will like being under authoritarian rule these next 3 years and 4 months. They will want a change and reject JD Vance ... but yes, we will see.

Authoritarian rule was done under Biden/Harris & that's why they got the boot.
Dems stand for nothing but to hate Trump & those who disagrees w/them. .
Dems have no leader no message & no solutions to solve problems they create.

Once again ... they are friends. She went on his show and he has done interviews with her. This is easy to fact check. No white comedian would do an impression of a black person these days without getting their permission first.

If Brendan Carr isn't fired as FCC Chairman, he will become an albatross for Republicans. They should be demanding his resignation right now .... but they aren't.
