Always, always, always follow the money. IMO Disney/ABC wanted out from Kimmel because his meager ratings, especially in key demographics, didn't justify his bloated salary. Ditto with Colbert at CBS. Kirk and their generally incendiary and ignorant takes on virtually everything gave both networks an easy out.

Like others have already said, if these two could draw an audience they would do what Carlson, Kelly, Owens, and others have done and independently do podcasts and blogs, but they would make a fraction of the bloated salaries these networks were paying them because no one but a tiny % of leftists gives a rat's ass what they say or think.

It is *literally* a "who's going to work in our fields?" argument. Literally. I'm not sure how you can be so blind to that.

Over the months, I've seen you and/ or others make arguments that range from "they're the only ones willing to" (and then when confronted by the 'free market' points about willingness being affected by the changes in wages with the illegal workers' removal} to the argument swiftly changing to "but our veggies will get so expensive!!!"

And the funny thing is, I can find absolutely no indication that this H1B change will affect the people providing you cheap labor.

What would being the former potus have to do with the infringement. Like you gotta he in office at the time for it to count???

New H1b will not affect farm worker numbers. I made an assumption about that earlier and I was wrong .

Back in the 70's when Ceasar Chavis was organizing migrant farm workers it was estimated that $.05/ per orange increase would pay a livable wage. Consumers pushed back, conservatives included. I hear that if fast food workers get $20/hrs hamburgers will be so expensive.

Networks have learned, insulting majority of Americans isn’t trendy any longer. Trump winning a second term disrupted the status quo for the long term.

This isn't exactly the truth since illegals are the only ones "willing and wanting" to work those jobs at like $2 an hour....

Real Americans will work for REAL wages, and that's why these farms and businesses are so supportive of illegals....they want slave labor
