Jimmie Kimmel Show gone !

Just 24 hours before Jimmy Kimmel - who averaged about 1.7 million nightly TV viewers over the past year - was abruptly dumped by ABC for his remarks about the slain conservative influencer, former Turning Point staffer Candace Owens racked up almost eight million views on YouTube in one day.

Lol. WTH do you call it then? Is your girlfriend also a man?
Just what I said ....

Jimmy Kimmel was accusing MAGA of exploiting Charlie Kirk's murder for political gain, but Kimmel did not say that Kirk's assassin, Tyler Robinson, was a MAGA member.

Jimmy Kimmel said that MAGA was trying to characterize Tyler Robinson as being a member of every negative affiliation they could .... except their own.

Kimmel said it in a very clumsy way, but that was what he was trying to convey. And even at that, I'm not condoning what he said. It was inappropriate to the moment. We are bitterly divided, and things such as this don't help.

And Megyn Kelly pulled in almost four million views on a three-hour livestream on her channel on the video site on September 10.

Ben Shapiro amassed 3.8 million views on his show, while more obscure conservative pundit Tim Pool, 39, racked up more than a million views on his YouTube channel.

A former NBC News executive told the Daily Mail: 'These people are just as big if not bigger online as Barbara Walters and Diane Sawyer were in their prime, but the mainstream media ignores them as if they're irrelevant.

'I mean Emmanuel Macron has been so rattled by Candace's attacks on his wife that he's taken the unprecedented decision to sue her,' the source said, referring to the French president's feud with Owens.

In fact, they've gotten so big that X is on fire with savage infighting between some of the biggest names among Right-wing influencers - which include Owens, Shapiro, Pool, Tucker Carlson, Ian Carroll, Steven Crowder among many others - and is growing at a fever pitch.

The number of eyeballs on these online stars has been increasing exponentially for months as more network talk-show stars like Kimmel and Stephen Colbert, and TV and print reporters - such as the Washington Post's Karen Attiah, CNN's Jim Acosta, MSNBC's Matthew Dowd and ABC News' Terry Moran - have been fired.

Online Right-wing commentators and influencers are now eclipsing once-dominant network hosts such as Jimmy Kimmel

Candace Owens, Megyn Kelly, and Tucker Carlson, all whom have transitioned from network news to independent online platforms, have amassed huge audiences since

If Brendan Carr had just kept his mouth shut. There really would be nothing to see here. The cancellation of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" would have been accepted as nothing but a business decision by ABC, just as the cancellation of Stephen Colbert's show was accepted as a business decision by CBS.
I agree.

LMAO. Liberals not getting their way as customary throw a fit & demand their way.

Yep .... but at least we know that Republicans never throw a fit when they don't get their way. That's especially true of the most die hard Trump supporters. They would never hold an angry protest and make demands .... or climb over walls at the Capitol. LOL.

It is true that each radio and television licensee is required by law to operate its station in the "public interest, convenience and necessity."

However, Sean Hannity's perspective is defining "public interest" too narrowly. Hannity and Brendan Carr are really just speaking of what is in the best interest of Donald Trump and his agenda. Hannity would be crying "Censorship!" if the roles were reversed.

.... and none of that excuses the threats which Carr made to ABC, prior to ABC indefinitely suspending Jimmy Kimmel's show. He gave ABC an ultimatum to cancel Kimmel's show .... or else he would take punitive action against them. That is authoritarianism, and an infringement on free speech.

Anyone can pick vegetables, I do, raised, picked and sold sweet corn as a boy. But very few Americans are willing to do that now. But many from south of our border are willing to. They only want to feed thier families. Recognizing that isn’t racist.

Weird to state Americans aren’t willing to do these jobs. Most on your side tell us these poor Americans aren’t capable of working or just can’t find a job because of “the economy”.

As for the government vs the church feeding the hungry. If my taxes can be used to kill children/infants in Gaza, then I want some of my taxes used to feed the pooron America.

Or….hear me out….”we” do neither and you do with your own money as you wish.

I have no hate for anyone, but I am admittedly not so good at turning the other cheek. I also tire Republicans telling me what I am,racist, socialist, communist, liar, trans, gay, Satan worshiper and more. All of which I have been called on this forum.

Lmao if you think you’re tired of being called racist, try our side.

So it seems the real thing that happened here is Kimmel’s comments upset affiliates who then requested he make an apology.

Instead of doing so, he intended on doubling down on his statements and was removed

Honestly if anyone really liked/watched his show, he could do the same dumb show on YouTube. But he knows he will lose money.

Going off of qhat we can confirm or, more accurately, my take on what we can confirm, the only alterations I would make to your post are:
- requested apology and donation to CK foundation.
- JK suspended indefinitely; not removed.
- Disney/Kimmel have other interests apart from his late night gig which must be considered. Additionally, there are a lot of crew who are affected with cancelation.

Tired of conservatives calling him a racist.

Continues to play the same old "But who will work in our fields?!" argument.

And as folks have said, all the right had to do was keep quiet and let the left eat their own. Discretion. Don't leave home without it.

Really false take. I don't care who works on farms and fields. Immagrants came here to do just that, not on my encouragement. If native born Americans are willing and wanting those jobs there would be no Immagrants working those jobs.
