It's amusing to think UT fans would be upset with Fisher. Successful coordinator at SEC, successful recruiter in SEC, and 75% winning percentage. Yeah, he's beneath us.

If we get burnt with a coach who doesnt turn out to be the 2nd coming, im all in for getting the biggest name. Atleast there would be SOME positive PR when they were hired.

"Jimbo is the next Richt" we don't want him is probably the best lines in the coaching forum. UT fans laughed at Muschamp, Kelly, scoffed at Sumlin (I throw myself in on that because I was a moron.... That's for you emain). Let Hart make the hire and shut the heck up. With what he has already done with fighting with Cheek over the academic side and then firing the useless people in the AD, should tell you he knows what it takes to run an athletic department. His time at FSU and Bama should tell you he knows his important football especially in hiring the right guy.

Half of these guys believe a coach should leave a good situation like Mora Jr. to come to TN. They fail to realize that SEC experience as an assistant and HC out of conference is what we are going to have to accept. Les Miles and Mark Richt are great examples of coaches who didn't have previous SEC experience. Heck Saban didn't have SEC experience until he got to LSU. We just need a good coach.

We are UT, Hart should be fired with all these championship coaches knocking at the door and none on the list. Anything less than Saban or Harbaugh is beneath us. On second thought Harbaugh had a losing record once and Saban lost to ULM. They are even beneath us. Anything less than The Messiah is unacceptable. If Hart doesn't hire him from the right hand of God, then we are doomed.

fisher? I was told by the "insiders" on here that it was official that gruden was coming. Why are we still looking for a coach? :):)
