Honestly its hard to say even with Gruden it would be a gamble.. You just dont know. I think he could be a 10-2 type.. Not right away of course but I would think in 3 years we could be there. If he can bring good defenses and keep most of the offensive talent we have .. We could have a vast improvement next year over this year

Now that Gruden is out of the picture, Jimbo is number one for Hart. 1b is Golden and 1c is Gundy. I don't get it with Golden, and not a huge fan of Gundy. Butch Davis is after these guys, but I like him better than b and c. ACC championship tomorrow so we should know about Jimbo soon. He is Harts guy, has been for a long time. He made him the coach in waiting at fsu.

Plus he lost his Stoops to UK and Eddie Gran is being considered for job as well.

I don't know if this is any info you all don't know already. Just thought I would post what I was told per Sexton as of Sunday. He told me and my dad Sunday he was 95% sure Jimbo would be our next coach. This was even in the midst of all the Gruden talk. Haven't spoken to him since then, but just thought I would pass this along.

So I don't understand everyone's thought process, we just had Dooley for 3 years and at this point everyone agrees we was a waste. Then everyone gets all excited about Gruden and we can all understand why would be a great hire on nothing else but name alone. He turned us down now people are saying Jimbo Fisher and everyone acts like he would be the worst hire known to man he recruits well and as long as we don't play Wake Forest we will be fine IMO thoughts?

Ok so take a coach who can recruit that we'll for the ACC imagine how we'll he can do here since he knows Florida well and more kids want to play in the SEC then ACC

Fisher would be a huge improvement over what we have had. Only lost 1 game, even if it was to a team Dooley beat.

Patterson is a dream. More so then Gruden was. Strong, Golden, Fedora, or Fisher will be your next coach at UT IMO.

Exactly, why would we want a coach with good connections and past recruiting success in Florida, Louisiana, and Texas? I'll take Jimbo any day of the week over Golden, Petrino, Fedora, Davis, Jones, etc. Besides, how would someone named Jimbo not do well in the SEC?
