I don't think a great plan after the Pearl show-cause penalty is to hire a coach under a show-cause penalty.

When I think Tressell I have NO excitement about that name. I'm nobody...but why would a recruit get excited about that name.

He has that "reject" stigma to me though he may make a fine coach.

I say Gruden, Chip Kelly, Cowher, some other NFL coach, or somebody similar. It's a very narrow list of candidates unfortunately.

If we're to get a top tier coach they're going to have to shell out 5 to 6 million to get him.
