I'm fine with that, but painting CLK as an idiot in this is senseless. You can all hate him and think he has mushroomed the program, but I think he did exactly what he intended by telling his team that his intention is to be at the top of the pile. Could he have expected such a ridiculous response from Foley and Slive? No, so he could never have imagined the legs this thing got, but he definitely is sending a message in his commentary and it's to his team , its fans and potential recruits.

CLK is not a moron. He mite be caustic to some, but moronic he isn't. He came with a plan and has generally executed it to the T. I would expect that to continue.

Hell yes! Papa, I said as much on this board right after I heard the comments. Even if he was right (and I believed him at the time), you don't call another SEC coach a cheater. The SEC will not stand for it. If a third year law student can see that plain as day, I would hope like hell the head coach could see it.

This is exactly what is wrong with the Volnation. We would rather sit on our hands and give the ol golf clap. I noticed someone dropped a sanitary napkin while walking down this list. Teams play to the attitude of a coach. Look at Les Miles, he has the mentality of a risk taker and his players play like it. How many trick plays do they run and successfully make? Urban plays with wreckless abandon and so does his team. Phil played conservative and guess what every time we ran a trick play we look like a pee wee team. I am tired of getting whipped. Getting beat is one thing, not competing is another. So for all of you who think Lane needs to shut up sell your tickets and go watch high school ball. I want a coach who has "testical fortitude." Yes, we will stir up every reporter in America who cares. When was the last time you seen a Phil get in anyones face? Pat does it at least 5 times a game.

I guess that's where our whole arguments begin. I believe he did plan this out to get a rise out of Urbie and UF. You don't.

I don't doubt that he intended to get a rise. It would work better if he didn't shoot from the hip. Personally, I hope he adopts this master plan that people are quick to attribute to him.
