I'll take a stab at that. The University and all of Vol Nation was just Kiffed...badly. I absolutely do not care what people in California think, but what I do care about is that the University of Tennessee and Vol Nation be seen as having class. If the response to being Kiffed is rioting, setting fires, and naming sewage plants after LK, in my mind, no class there.

The sewage plant thing is very classy and witty who the hell would ever the think of anything like that...I dont care where you are from thats brilliant..and Jim Rome as long as I can remember all I think about is him getting slammed for the calling Jim Everett Chris Everett..

Wow, alot of hate for Rome on here, i almost wonder if it's a southern thing, im thinking a few folk look at that west coast arrogance and take it personally.

Some of you remind me of the rasslin fans who don't get the fact a certain wrestler is PORTRAYING the part of a heel. It's a persona, he plays the condescending prick for lulz, it's called a radio personality.What's that?!! Stern really isn't a huge pervert in real life?
I always thought his show was an acquired taste, very tongue and cheek, more on trolling entertainment and less on in depth sports analysis.Then again Rome might be a huge douche off the mic, i guess you have to take it in the spirit it's intended. I mean there is always the driftwood for personality Dan Patrick to fall back on.

Do me a favor... Check out Jim rome vs Jim Everett on youtube before you start defending rome for his on-air antics. The guy's a jerk. He thinks he's smarter and funnier than anyone, and somebody, somewhere thinks that's funny. I agree, he's not on the air to deliver up-to-date sporting world info, but his attitude of arrogance is almost always aimed at the same class of ppl, in my opinion. Maybe if he hated everyone equally, including himself, it would be more enjoyable.

I can't stand listening to the halting speech and dramatic pauses. Guy is a drama queen.
Hated him ever since the Jim Everitt thing. Totally classless. Maybe Kiffin can get him as a pr director.

If it's for real, then Everett should have taken him to the woodshed and had his way with him. Both looked like they were trying hard not to smile or laugh. It didn't air because they probably thought people would get the wrong impression and just let it become internet folklore and go with it.
