Here's hoping that he invites Jim "Chris" Everett back on the program for round two.

i agree with rome. i've been here in arkansas listening to the fans whine about houston nutt for the past two years. it not only gives nutt unwarranted credit, it makes the fans look like idiots. i don't want to see the vols go down the same dead end street. kiffen's gone. deal with it.

I am celebrating his departure, and the fact that we have a much better coach now. Tennessee got lucky in this deal. Doesn't mean I don't want his career to fall apart. The two are not mutually exclusive.

I agree with him here. He is not worth mentioning here. We have a new coach and I want to concentrate on that and the future of the Vols. I do hope they get caught though if wrongly talking to our recruits that are here. Go Dooley and Go Vols!

LK is ruining his career by himself but I still want us to bury him, I HATE Rome and understand he doesn't care about anything except burning the next headline. Should they name a sewage facility after Kiffin? Probably not, but I think the word "immortalize" should be replaced with "memorable occasion".

So it would go like this, "remember that one time that one guy tried to screw us over and we ruined his career and named a sewage facility after him, now he's divorced and not aloud to have a driver's license. WE ARE AWESOME."

I agree, we need to move on and put our support and energy behind the new Vol staff. Let the NCAA, PAC-10 and the USC deal with the KID's drama. SEC and UT fans certainly have had their fill of the KID and I say good riddance!

i believe his name is spelled Kiffin, not Kiffen. I agree w/ Jim Rome on this one, a lot of people on VN are like teenagers when the guy/girl they were obsessed with broke up with them out of no where.

I don't see how anyone can listen to Rome more than about 30 seconds.

It's funny but I've felt about the same about Kiffin from day one, glad he's gone, good riddance and the sooner we forget him the better. :)

Jim Rome thinks the world of himself and it's quite clear. He does great interviews but I hate his opinion. As far as the sewage plant...it is kind of sophomoric. I hope it doesn't get done.

I really do not care what Jim Rome has to say about being Petty and Childish...see Jim "Chris" Everett footage....He is only a self promoting Douche, hmmm.. reminds me of Lane Kiffin, I like the idea of the Sewage plant named after him and i woulnd't mind to take it a step further and Rename the Landfill in honor of Ed Orgeron.

I agree that we should let it go, simply because it won't change anything. If anything bad happens to his career, then we can smile about it, but we're just giving ourselvse false hope that something will happen to him at the moment.
