Rome was also providing his stellar analysis when Manning was drafted. He spent a lot of time telling us how dumb the Colts were for taking Manning over Ryan Leaf. The stupid is permanent with Jim Rome.

Manning didn't have to play a dominant game vs Char. He just had to not lose it. Does Rome ready believe Den wins the SB with Osweiler at Qb? Gosh I would hope he's not that stupid.

Osweiler would've tossed at least a trio of picks against Pitt & NE. Just in case you haven't noticed, the last three teams Denver played are absolute juggernauts defensively, and there isn't a qb anywhere with enough mobility to handle those pass rushers (ask Russell Wilson). Peyton's game management did far more to win those games than never played wannabes like you may comprehend. Stick to porn or something else you know well. Back to the ignore list for you.

I forgot all about that happening. I had that episode recorded on VHS tape, so that goes to show how long Rome has been a washed up idiot! Lol. Watching that clip to this day, is still funny as Hell! Lol.

Truth be told Den could have won the SB vs Carolina with me at QB.. So yes I do believe Den wins the SB with Brock at QB.Peyton is my all time fave Col and always will be but Denver's D is why they beat Carolina. The offense did little and really hurt more than it helped. I love Peyton got one last SB ring and nobody deserves it more than him. But let's be honest his turnovers could have cost Den the SB if not for the D setting up and scoring most of the points. Peyton's leadership was the only advantage he would have had over Brock. But things went the way they should have and Peyton broke a few more records and got his 2nd ring. Same could be said if Osweiler doesn't beat Brady early in the season then I doubt Den beats Brady in NE in the playoffs. I think Brock will be a good NFL QB but obviously he will never be on a manning type level. But having grown up a Bronco's fan we just need a QB who won't lose games as long as Elway keeps buying championship type Defense's.

Absolutely agree. That Denver D is what won them most of their games this year and the Super Bowl.Peyton didn't play well in the SB at all,especially being turnover and sack prone. Fortunately we didn't need Peyton to win the SB, that's why Elways paid what he did for that D. If Denver had to win with shootouts then no way do they win the SB this year under Peyton. It sucks knowing Peyton isn't close to the QB he used to be and bad as I hate to say it he needs to hang it up. He has the chance to go out on top and would be shocked if he didn't. But the majority of my football watching life has seen Peyton on either Saturday or Sunday.
So it will be weird knowing he won't be playing football again. Just hoping he gets to spend a lot of extra time in Knoxville and working with the QB's.

Most of the issues Denver had in the SD game where they pulled Brock were faults of other players on the team. Hell Brock's last snap was a CJ Anderson fumble.
