At Ohio State, his 2024 defense led the nation in fewest points allowed and fewest yards allowed.
This season under Knowles, Penn State ranks 34th nationally in yards allowed and 37th in points allowed.

He said he wanted a new deal before the championship game. When that didn’t happen, he began exploring other opportunities. Soon after, he accepted an offer to become the defensive coordinator at Penn State Nittany Lion, reportedly with higher pay, so the move was voluntary on his part

Knowles is only going to work out if we spend bigly in the portal. Banks has us so far off with talent and poorly developed players it’s going to take some big time transfers

He can be a monster in this scheme IMO. If he gets too big for that position he will just move forward a level on defense and play LB/Jack.

Wyatt and those 2 top 100 LBs we signed this year in White and Rouse should be ecstatic. Same for Spillman and the 2 Jadens also at LB.
