is just awesome. You can tell he actually cares about his players and that those players love playing for him. This team came out and made some adjustments at halftime and just destroyed Va. Tech. Whoever gets him to be there coach is going to be very happy.

It also helps when the team you're playing against is consistently overrated. Tech's 1-27 against AP top-5 teams, so this wasn't really unexpected.

How many of you would like to see Jim Harbaugh coach in the SEC, say at South Carolina or Georgia? That'd be fun.

I hope he stays at Stanford (likely won't) just to show that theres still loyalty in college football and that his eyes aren't just full of $$$$

You could argue him going back to his alma mater (if that is what he ends up doing, who knows) is a form of loyalty in and of itself.

Though I see your point.

I for one, as a Duck fan, hope he leaves. I don't want to have to play Harbaugh coached Stanford teams. He's still the only coach in the Pac-10 to beat Chip. But I do like the guy. Classy (and good) coach.

I wouldn't consider it unloyal if he goes to Michigan as that's his alma mater. I think he may end up in the NFL. Hell of a coach either way

great coach. he and his father saved WKU football. so it shows what kind of person he is. I think he is the best coach in college football. what about that running game.. Harbaugh is showing the flashy offenses are nice but a solid physical football team is tough to beat...

Will be a good NFL coach. Looks like he'll be choosing between San Fran, Denver, or Carolina. Nobody in the media is giving Carolina much of a chance, but when he played for the Panthers, he had an offer for San Fran too, but he chose Carolina because he said his wife loved the Carolinas so much. Also, it might be comforting to know that he'd be able to coach Luck again.
We'll see I guess, but he will be a great coach. Just saw where he's said he will not be going to Michigan, and would stay at Stanford IF he stays in college.

I'd like to see him here...but he'll be in Oakland

Why in the world would he be in Oakland when San Francisco and Michigan want him? Thats like eating at Krystals when you could go to Copper Celler or Ye Old Steakhouse.

Which of those 3 teams has an insane owner that has completely screwed up his franchise by making constant dumb decisions?? Hell San Fran has sucked for 8 years but at least we still have talent on our team. Id put $1,000 that say Harbaugh doesnt go to Oakland. He may or may not go to either San Fran or Michigan but I can promise he wont go to Oakland.

Want to put 50 on SF vs. Oakland, then?

If he ends up at neither, no one gets anything.

Screw that. We don't need to add Harbaugh to this conference, especially when we're down.

Haha, I was being sarcastic. Harbaugh in the SEC would be another mountain to climb for Tennessee and the Vols have barely left base camp.

I did too, but I couldn't see him coming here and I don't know how the fan base would have accepted him.
We accepted Kiffin. I doubt the reception to Harbaugh would be worse at all. I do think he would have left, too.

I don't know. Even with Kiffin having a bad coaching record, it was the NFL.
