Guys, since the hire of Jim Chaney I have been very upset. I look at his work at Georgia in recent years. I see 4-5 star players littering the field and yet, Georgia never had a prolific offense. In fact, I have argued that they won games in spite of Chaney, not because of him. They won games based on pure talent alone. Chaney is a bland player caller at best and that is rearing its ugly head here today. I am afraid that my thoughts about him are correct.

Wait for the weak link to graduate or leave for the pros. Gets better.

Currently Chaney appears to be lost. However he isnt coaching nor calling defense

He was when he was first hired.

Why all the sudden do y’all want to change your mind?

I mean we are probably going to lose to a team that only won 2 freaking games last year. I am seriously wondering if it’s even worth being a TN football fan anymore.

Again, I said since he was hired I was upset. In my mind he was never the answer. The game has moved past him and his prehistoric playcalling.

Just fine it funny there was like two threads saying Chaney was Pruitt’s best hire and now y’all want to fire him over one game.

It’s ridiculous.

In the 1st half Pruitt punted on 4th and 1 at GSU’s 35.... Vols were up 7 at the time and could have made a statement.... nope..... balls of Bambi came out.... punted to the 18....GSU drives the length of the field and scores TD.

Defense and offense sucks

I like what Pruitt is doing for a complete picture.

However Tennessee is still dealing with a HC that probably wasn’t ready yet to be a HC.

Learning on the job is tough. Still have faith in him long term. This just sucks

While our offense looks bad, our pass defense is abysmal. If we win this game, and that is still a question, I just hope we can win a single SEC game.

Gripe about Cheney all you want, but don’t forget how inept the O was last year. The defense deserves a whole lot of blame too.

Are you even reading what I'm typing? Serious. I have NEVER said that. I don't want to fire him over one game. I never wanted him hired.

Chaney is a good coordinator. Our QB is not good and many of our prayers have a losing culture that’s hard to turn around.

#2 is not the answer. He looked similar to the awful Ole miss QB.
