Jim Bob Cooter

Sorry but if you're a Lions season ticket holder, your opinions with regard to quality football are questionable.
That statement would further emphasize my point. They don’t play quality football and have had a sub par offense. Why would we want that?

He's a NFL guy and will be on some NFL staff next season. Probably not a good fit for us anyway, no recruiting connections or experience.

Dude was brutal in detroit. No thanks
This time last year, JBC was talked about/interviewing for NFL head coaching jobs. He had a bad year under a rookie head coach this season. Before that, he was a rising star in the NFL. There is a better than decent chance that Patricia is the problem in Detroit, and not JBC. Calling his career in Detroit brutal is just ignorant.

Yup, ESPN quoted him from last week saying, "I plan on being in this league for a long time." I can't imagine why anyone who has the opportunity to coach in the NFL would want to move to the college coaching madness. If the NFL just isn't where you fit, like Saban or Spurrier - or Sark maybe - then I can see it, but not otherwise, and especially not for the same role.

I just can't believe the # of Tennessee Fans that would favor Hiring a Bammer over a Tennessee Grad under any Circumstance- The Worst Tennessee Volunteer is better than any Bammer- Has 2 Decades of wandering in the Wilderness that we are so desperate we have turned to a Bammer to Solve our Problems- God Help Us
I have nothing against Tee, but he has his opportunity before and choose not to come here. But if your SOOO hung up on Tee, then maybe you should start following Louisville football.

I think he would even stay as a QB coach in the NFL before coming to college as an OC.

Dont understand the hate he is getting now. The margin of error is so small in the NFL. If Pruitt is targeting a NFL OC to run a pro system it is going to be a fired OC. A fired NFL OC is going to be more qualified than 98 percent of current college OCs.
