Agreed. The only reason people on this board has a woody for JBC is because he is a grad of UT. That does not make him a slam-dunk hire. If JBC had been a graduate of any other school we would never hear his named mentioned during the coaching search. Nobody on here would want him and if his name popped up as a possibility there would be a massive meltdown on here.

He's done as much with the tale he has as anyone. You are right though, it's because he's familiar to our program that he gets any intrest here. But, sometimes that's how you find those diamonds in the rough..
