He will either get a HC job or be retained. He had the crappiest oline and running back staff in the league and get still won or was in it, every single game. Heck his oline last week didn’t have a single starter on it I think.

I just can't believe the # of Tennessee Fans that would favor Hiring a Bammer over a Tennessee Grad under any Circumstance- The Worst Tennessee Volunteer is better than any Bammer- Has 2 Decades of wandering in the Wilderness that we are so desperate we have turned to a Bammer to Solve our Problems- God Help Us

Definitely a troll trying to stir something up.

JBC isn’t ready for a HC gig at any level beyond high school. That’s not to say he doesn’t have potential. He certainly helped Stafford settle down but his offensive scheme was too predictable... and it all wasn’t due to no running game.

I'm a Lions fan (tough sledding sometimes). The Lions havent canned him yet. I think there is a good chance that Matt Patricia is the head coach, or another defensive coach- and JBC stays on. Stafford loves him. The running game has been painful. I don't know if the game planning is more Caldwell forcing some of the early game play calling. But JBC needs to do a much better job with the running schemes. It's been awful.

No offense but if Tn only hired Tn guys then there would be no Neyland Stadium since he was an Army grad. Also, when we talk about loyalty regarding Pruitt leaving for Bama, think of Neyland. He built Tn, made Tn a factor and won championships. Could he have done as much at Army? Not likely. I suppose I am old fashioned and believe that Tn can be relevant with the right fit, and I am willing to give our new guy a chance. By the way, how many people were calling for Cut to return? Bama grad I think? I can’t believe so many are mad because Tee or JBC were not hired as head coach just because they are grads. Saban is not a Bama grad, neither is Mullen from Fla. Why does UT have to have an alum right now?

I posted a bit back about my unpleasant pregame experience on the strip. It was dead...heartbreaking. With all that is happening it seems obvious that coaxing Cooter back would make everyone happier and bring the excitement back. He’s got a great track record.

Every coach in the NFL loves Cooter. Heck, Manning has expressed his admiration for Cooter. If we wined and dined Cooter I think we’d be in for a treat. However, knowing Pruitt is a no nonsense Bama guy (and not the smoothest talker), maybe he should just throw money at Cooter. That works sometimes.

I can hear the negavols now. Some will say... “Cooters out of our league. We’ll never get Cooter again.” Its people like you who have put us in this dry spell. I doubt Cooter responds well to negativity and nobody can talk to Cooter like Manning and Fulmer.

Some will say...”Cooter can’t recruit.” If this is you, you have lost your way in life. Simply reassess, meditate and try again. May I remind you Cooter was around during the Vol hostess times. Probably his idea.

Some will say...”Cooter has no experience in the SEC.” Lack of experience never stopped Cooter before and you know Cooter cannot be stopped.

Vol fans, we need to grab Cooter before someone else does first.
