JG deserves respect ( for this game)

JG with his 9 wins and 18 losses as a starter...worst record in history for any UT starter with 20+ starts???

He will get my respect as a player when he sits down on the bench and is a supporter for Maurer or HB. 148 passing yards today and there are people on here still supporting him. Unbelievable. Best thing he could do for UT football is get out of the way and let more talented players do the job. He has a 0% chance of ever playing pro football at any level, so nothing to gain by continuing to hurt our team. Sit your ass down, JG.

If Maurer started this game, I bet we lose by 14 or so instead of 31 freaking points.

The worst QB is school history but him being out there is on Pruitt.

Glad he gave his all. Wish the coaches would have done the same.

Not even close. I could name Peterman, Stephens, and Matt Simms just in last 10 years. He may be the worst in comparison to his HS ranking but Crompton probably still has him beat for that.

JG deserves NOTHING. You gain respect when you perform well. He hasn't done that at all consistently in 5 years.

I will be as anxious to see him go as I was Tyler Bray. Both head cases.

LOL.

People act like he wasn't projected to be way better. He is one of the top qb recruits of the last decade.

So JG wasn't supposed to improve over 5 years...?

You know what. Forget it.

You're fake as #uck. There's no use in actually debating you in anything...

Game plan was conservative as hell, but he did what was asked. Rebounded from last week. Maybe the last time we see him, but he is as tough nails. VFL, and I tip my cap. Boys and girls it’s HB TIME!

It was conservative by game plan because jg is qb, you can't open up with him because of turnovers.

I never thought I’d say this but he did pretty well this game. He’s still inconsistent but he was definitely not the reason we lost
Yea, he is. Because the offense it straped with him. Its not hard to understand if you know any football at all. We would still lose but we could be MUCH more competitive with a QB better than 7-14 for 78 yards in the 3rd QTR. A couple deep passes helped his stats but he wasn't good as far as winning a game.

Pruitt is the one putting JG in there so I'm placing my blame there. No QB is going to say don't play me coach
JG's tough, thanks for the hits but it's time to bench him and for him to grad transfer after the season

You call 13/24 for 162 a rebound? That is any other SEC quarterbacks first half stats.. it’s long past time for him to be riding pine. I’m baffled that people don’t understand Jim’s got like 20 plays or less he can call because of JG’s abilities or lack thereof.
