Seeing the consensus is.... When voting decide if he 1) Is to blame for this loss .... and 2) Should be start next week vs BYU?
Be as accurate in your voting as possible. I understand the polling answers might not 100% align to your answer, but vote on those lines.

JG is by far the worst QB I've seen start in Orange in my life. I was 100% convinced of this last year sitting in the stands at the Vandy game and all today did was confirm it. I hate it for the young man but he is not a leader, he does not inspire and he himself just isnt any good. Who cares about ability and tools if the person doesn't know how to use them?

He is what you call a coach killer.

I don’t think we have anyone better. This loss is all on the coaching. Unprepared, out of shape, outran and outphysicaled by freakin Georgia State. Pruitt is in some serious hot water barring a quick turnaround.

I went with he is to blame and should not be starting. But the reality is that while he’s the player most responsible…you have to always put it more on the coaches than any one player in particular. He’s not a good QB but the coach’s are Paid a fortune to be able to recognize that type of thing and plan accordingly.

Not enough options. So I didn’t cast a vote. He’s not the ONLY reason we lost. But I’d give him a close 2nd next to the d line. I have a hard time believing that what he and Weinke kept behind closed doors wasn’t the exact same issues we seen yesterday. The fact that he hasn’t improved I gotta say yes, it’s time to move on because we all know the next qb doesn’t have a 3 year leash.

He is not THE reason we lost but is most definitely part of it. Which is why I chose he was the reason.

Bad poll imo. All you need to have a poll on is if he should start next week or not. That's it. 85% minimum will say we need a change at QB. And I would agree.

Isn’t he our best QB though? Do we have anything to gain by having someone worse as the starter?

It is like a lot of the players can’t see what is going on or adjust to it. JG throws late, behind the receiver, or to a defender. He has a difficult time getting out of pressure or knowing when to throw the ball away. Also may be trying to hard and holding on to it too long.

JG did not score 38 points for GS. He obviously didn't play great, but he's is definitely not the one to blame for this loss. This team was not prepared to play. Period. That is squarely on the coaching staff.

those defending JG - did you actually watch where he was throwing the ball? He continuously selected the 2nd or 3rd best option the entire game. He didn't lose the game, but he did nothing to help win it, either.
If these JG homers rewatch the game sober they will be in for a surprise watching how bad this dude is and all of the opportunities they had to put GA state away early.

JG's ineptitude as a QB and field general allowed Ga State to stay in the game, be motivated, and play with fire. Bray put 21 on them with 7 more from a Neal by half im 2012. Thats how you dominate teams like GA State.
