Jersey Patch Sponsorship

Who would you like to see have a billboard on the football jerseys?

Smith and Wesson would be awesome

Ol Smokey also.

Yeehaw

S&W. No way the SEC allows that.

If you're talking about the moonshine outlet, that stuff is watered down multi-flavored mule pi** that has no business being called moonshine. Only the 151 is actually moonshine. I get better stuff in Anderson County every time we head up that way.

Yeehaw? Good Lord.

How about Waffle House? Always a good fight to be found there.

Or Walmart? Looks like an SEC defense, but falls apart first time you wash it in hot water.

Or Fanta...Orange Crush.

Won't be long before the stadium announcers will be saying "That 37 yard touchdown pass was sponsored by First Tennessee Bank, Weigel's, and FarmersOnly.com. When you need to score, it's an internet date; a $7 hot dog and coke; and a secure debit card transaction with UT's preferred business partners."

Agree on the watered down shine, it’s yuppy juice.

Oh gosh, let's just round this out properly, huh? "Welcome to Cracker Barrel Field, Inside Pilot Neyland Stadium, serving Ice Cold Bud Light!"

Seriously though, if you think about uni patches and ad space, you know Weigels and Pilot will be at the front of the line.

But lets get a little creative...who could we get in East TN with deep ties...Dollywood? CM Hall of Fame? Thoughts?

Also, you think it will be one patch?
If it is, will it be allowed to be changed during the season?

We could probably generate more revenue if we changed the patch every game.

We have some nice brands here in our state. I’d be less concerned if every sponsor was temporary.

The SEC must approve?

And then just wait until they stop calling it Neyland Stadium at all. Remember two years ago, when Tennessee said that the arena would be called "Thompson-Boling Arene at Food City Center"? Funny how here we are, not two years later, and everyone just calls it "Food City Center" now. Funny how that works.

I noticed that too.
My only argument is two things:

1- Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center is a mouthful to say and no way are we going to get away with announcers just calling it Thompson-Boling anymore.

2 - Neyland is much more of a cathedral of sport and a lot more revered than TBA. It's kind of like a few years ago when KY tried to rename Rupp Arena and Memorial Stadium...you see which one got renamed.
