Good point. If Boo were to keep #23 for his entire career, that number could be retired. (I hope he plays well enough that it would be a consideration). But you could never retire a single-digit number. If you retired #1 it would kill recruiting, because every kid wants to be #1. Fortunately for UT #16 is the only desirable number that is retired. #91 and #92 are retired, but nobody wants them anyway.

I'd WANT #92 but those that would deserve it are very few and far between.
