Jerry Palm of CBS Sports has Tennessee ranked #4 and playing #1 Georgia in the Peach Bowl in the FBS Playoffs Semifinals in his latest bowl predictions. I hope the FBS Playoffs Top 25 has Tennessee ranked #4 also.
Love it. Michigan and Ohio state play each other still, Tenn will be no.3 in a few weeks.

I'd rather us sneak into that 3rd spot and play someone else and maybe play UGA in the title game...Because if we play them there they will have already played 2 games there...The game against Oregon and the SEC title game...Regardless, Getting to the playoffs is awesome regardless of who we play and you got to beat whoever they put in front of you.

If Tennessee does get the rematch with Georgia, I hope Heupel and the coaching staff makes some adjustments to be more competitive. Truth is, Georgia has more depth, and it's all 4 and 5 star. Tennessee just isn't deep enough yet. Hopefully that is gonna change in the next several recruiting classes.

Tennessee still has a lot to play for. I believe the Vols will regroup and put the smack down on their 3 remaining regular season opponents. I suspect that the Volunteer offense will put up some really big numbers down the home stretch.

Very high probability that if the Vols successfully navigate these last 3 games, they will be in the play-off.

Go Vols.

Not really. The way they distribute tickets would keep it from being anywhere close to a "home" game.
How do they distribute? Looks like tickets have already been sold out. Only thing out there will be resale if this is accurate. On top of that, I would imagine a lot of UGA fans bought them up considering they expected to be there and it’s in Atlanta 18703F55-9F1A-49AC-BACA-C8FD442EC91A.png

Not sure what adjustments you can make. At the end of the day, it's still UGA's defensive roster against our offensive roster. They just physically manned up on us and whipped us. Yeah, it was a 14 pt loss, but we didn't sniff the endzone until 4 min left in the 4th. That game wasn't nearly as close as the final score indicated. We can't match them physically and I doubt we'll be fooling them with some super secret scheming. UGA will have to make a lot of mistakes and we'd have to play flawlessly to have a chance. Yes, they are that much better than we are.

How do they distribute?
Equal chunks for the universities and a huge portion for corporate sponsors, I'd imagine. Like most of these kinds of games.

Atlanta is a big enough city with enough alums and fans from everywhere that it likely wouldn't be majority UGA in those seats, either.

EDIT: saw your addition. Those are probably the small handful of seats they leave open for the general public. They can say "sold out" because what they're holding for schools are probably "sold" in the sense that they aren't available.

There is a lot of football left and as I’ve state numerous times, it’s an awesome feeling to see TN relevant again.

There will be movement each week as the committee will review each game, esp championship games. TN needs TCU to lose. Also, I think the committee will give a spot to a one loss PAC 12 champion, (Oregon or USC). Lot of football left so enjoy the ride!
Go Vols!

What adjustment? If it’s personnel (4/5 star) what can CJH do?

Get the offense going against Missouri, Vandy, and SC again and get some buzz back among the voters and committee.

I still feel good about their chances to get into the playoffs assuming the Vols take care of business and do it in convincing fashion.

Clemson and Alabama going down last night helped.

Clemson has been scraping by against their good opponents all season and blew their last shot at a "good" win last night in spectacular fashion.

Yesterday was tough to watch. Not sure I want to see it again. I have a hard time believing Tennessee is going to get the improvement they need along the line of scrimmage to stop Georgia in a playoff game.

Just let it play out. If we do happen to meet again it would be in NC game, which no one would have even imagined possible at begining of season. I happen to think Heupel would have better plan for the UGa pass rush if we meet again, Hooker would have to get the ball out or tuck it and run much more quickly than he did yesterday. Neutral site would of course help. Not saying we would win, but it would be a better outing Im confident of that.
