Jerry called for UT fans to show their support by showing up, getting behind the team, despite our feelings on Sunseri and Dooley. I agree, to a degree. But he's also obviously anti-Dooley.

By the way, Jerry, I went and voted today. I hope everyone else did too, if you haven't voted early.:peace2:

Bottom line is support for our Vols. That's what being a fan is. I've been through rough years with Majors and Fulmer as well. I always wear the Orange and will always support my Vols!

Agreed. It's hard to say but if you continue to show up and support the crap this program is putting out, the insanity will continue. The kids are in a bad situation but it only gets better IF this administration gets a clear message that we will not support this anymore.

I'm behind the team. The problem is when it's clutch time you see Dooley fail at a national level. Three games left to go and he is just now going to be more involved in the defense. I can deal with losing when my team gave 100%. I just feel insulted watching him coach my team then hear his excuses and the next week the same thing happens.

That's the ticket!

You gotta hit them where it hurts...right in the ole billfold!

Yeah if the powers that be would say Dooley now has a fork in him...

...the fans would come out and support our young men in orange and white. But games are being played...on the field this weekend and behind closed doors....and I hope those dudes are wearing rubber gloves.

If fans knew that dooley was gone and better days were ahead many more would come out to see the game and support the players.
Many now are afraid that their attendance will be taken as support for dooley and are not willing to take the chance of him being retained because of it.

So if you want change in the coaching staff we shouldn't support the team? How many times do fans on here make fun of Miami or others because they have low attendance. That's what has made Tennessee so great in the past the solid fan base and support for our team no matter what.

To me it's like having friend you want to change for the better but they don't/won't do it. You can see the potential in them, but for reason they will not change. You might even try to talk to them, cheer them, or even get mad at them. Then one day you realize that they need to figure things out for themselves and let them realize you are not going to continue to support their ways any longer. That is where I am. I love Tennessee, but until they are willing to make real changes for the better I can no longer support this administration.

Tony B and Jerry C are discussing if UT is ready for an African American HC? Are we? Hell, is there an African American coach in our search? Anyone we feel is qualified, ready and available?

I mean UT was the first to have an African American QB(Holloway). We have an african american head b-ball coach. Vols won the exhibition game last night, btw. We have african american coordinators.

I think we are ready. Is there anyone available, qualified and ready?

Yes, VOTE! My prediction: Obama will take an early lead, then all the Republicans will get off work to go vote.

+1,000,000

This is one reason why we sold our tickets to the game this Saturday.
