JerQauri Schofield

He's still committed and is taking his visits to be sure... just like he should.

He has visited UT... He came to one of the camps this past summer. That's where he got the offer.

so much for TOTALLY COMMITED!
Don't get your panties in such a wod dude. He just said Clemson and UT were even after the Clemson visit, not that Clemson was leading. Do you not think we are going to leave a great not to mention last impression on him? Man, some on here go off the deep end over nothing.

Basically, he has not pulled his committment, but he is no longer committed.

:fool:

No. He is committed just as he says he is. He is just looking around. Clemson is the biggest threat toward losing his commitment, but I wouldn't be too worried about them. On signing day, he'll be a Vol.

Dude's from SC. The Clemson pressure down here is huge on this kid. So not surprised that Clemson is in the mix. My hope is that UT closes the deal on his visit. I think Kiff and Co will make an impression.

Speaking of Clemson, the Tigers are down to four players they have a legitimate shot at signing – Boyd, running back Tim Simon of Cordova (Miss.) High, wide receiver Kendall Kelly of Gadsden (Ala.) Gadsden City and offensive lineman JerQuari Schofield of Aiken (S.C.) South Aiken. Simon, a soft commitment to Ole Miss, took an official visit to Clemson the weekend of Jan. 9 and has visits coming up to Kentucky and Tennessee. He visited Ole Miss this past weekend. Schofield, a soft commitment to Tennessee, also visited Clemson on Jan. 9 and has a visit with the Vols this weekend; he also will visit LSU on Jan. 23.

They talk about four players but they only list three. Who is the fourth player they are referring to or is Boyd, Tajh Boyd?

Update from Rivals

“I have made my final decision,” the 6-foot-6, 300-pound offensive lineman from South Aiken (S.C.) High School said in a text message to the News Sentinel on Sunday following his official visit to UT. “I will be a Vol this time next year.”

This is awesome. Now we just need to make sure Aubrey Phillips is 100% committed, and reel in Peter White, Morgan Moses, and Quinton Washington.

That would be a bada$$ OL class. And, I almost forgot Revis.

I know he was ruled ineligible for spring ball due to academics but is he still part of the team?

I will say it looks like he has a chance to be since he is still taking classes. At least I believe he is , or we would have heard something by now.

The rumor from Brent at VQ is he is still enrolled in school trying to get his grades up and get back to good academic standing so he can transfer.

I don't think Jer'Quari is still in school at Tennessee. He is listed as inactive in the UT database as of 5/21/12. Since that is in the middle of mini term, I would speculate (not that my speculation means much) that he left school after determining he was not going to be able to be academically eligible for the fall.
