"they do a great job with their linebackers getting into the NFL." Oh for the days when that wasn't the first thing out of a players mouth.

6'1" - 230lb - 4.67 40 - 34.1" Vertical from Chesapeake, VA. Rivals rates Askew as the number one run-stopping linebacker in the country.

Would love for Oku to commit officially. Don't forget we still have good shots to pull in Moses, Brown, Akiem Hicks, Marlon Brown, and Kevin Newsome to a lesser extent.

2 pickups this week, both at positions of dire need.

Its interesting the timing of Hollins, Askew, and Oku's (unoffical) announcement and the timing of them. Sounds like CPF knew Oku was in but urged him to unofficially commiting before his dad returned. Sounds like they knew Hollins would pull the trigger immediately following an offer. And maybe he just straight up begged Askew to pull the trigger now since we led for him for a while. Maybe a good PR stunt amidst all the drama and speculation. Regardless, good class if we can keep them.

'06 class was coming off of the 2005 season. Last year we had limited numbers, and missed on some of the guys we were really going after. Basically every single DT we looked at.

Not going to be a DT. DE maybe, but hopefully stays at OLB and performs like Mayo. It is also rumored that West Virginia commit QB Tajh Boyd may visit Tennessee with BC and Oregon in the mix.
