Jermod McCoy predicted top 10

Read something interesting from one of the services. It seems that in their search for something against McCoy the powers that be decided that they don't like the fact he didn't push to get on the field last year, even if just for a couple of games at the end of season. They assert it shows a "lack of love for the game."
If that was the case, he would have been taken in the second round ahead of inferior players that did play.

man the nfl is ruthless.

I've heard his acl surgery got botched and he'll need to have another knee surgery before he can play again, that the knee that wasn't injured has a degenerative condition that will require surgery, that the knee that was injured has an unrelated cartilage issue that needs to be repaired. Who knows how much any of this is true lol. But when Adam Schefter gets the call, you know they'll say whatever it takes to get the draft stock to drop.

For those not wanting to watch a 1-2 minute video:

“NFL Reporter Charles Robinson Explains Jermod McCoy's Draft Slip: ""It's not the ACL tear issue, that’s fine...He has a bone plug, which was basically a piece of bone and cartilage was used to repair a degenerative cartilage issue in that same knee, and now there is a thought process among doctors that this is now going to have to be replaced again… And I had one team tell me that if there’s a severe slip it’s because there are some teams that are taking the position that if this next surgery, which would likely knock him out for the entirety of the year, is not successful, it will effectively end his career"”

Edit: “Because what you’re doing to fix it, is you’re taking a piece of bone and cartilage from somewhere else in that knee - that [bone and cartilage] is not necessarily load-bearing - and you’re transporting it to try to fix the defect. And you can’t keep doing this over and over again.”
