Totally deserved based on his level of play last year. But I can’t see him matching it with the ACL. It’s a shame, we waited 20+ years for a corner like him.

I’ve seen several great Safeties play for the Vols.

But, I don’t think I’ve seen better CB play for the Vols as McCoy had last year.

His pass coverage is excellent. I became a big fan when he wrestled down, more like hog tied, the 250 lb NC State TE short of a 1st down.

Looks like most NFL draft guys have McCoy going in the 1st round, after his knee injury (attached). Not bad for a Rivals TWO STAR.

Healthy, he’s a difference maker. If he is not available or not 100%, then that will show up in big/tight games. This team will need all their best players to play their best for a 7 or 8 win regular season.

Update: JPJR and Mays, albeit Mays ended up second team post season. Not sure if JP maintained his status.
