Wow, he was on one of the greatest offences in NCAA history on the 1998 team.

Not sure what Volunteer team you were watching in 1998. I think he had 15 total catches the entire year on a team that was far from the "greatest offense in NCAA history."

He had a decent year on the 1997 team that got smashed by Florida and Nebraska.

Troll/sarcasm attempt?

I think he cut and paste that from the press release on the website link from OP.

I loved that we won the NC, but have to agree, "one of the greatest offences in NCAA history" they weren't....

Jeremaine was a GREAT athlete. As others have mentioned, he was quite possibly better at basketball than football. Got to see him play on many occasions in high school (I'm from Kingston) in both sports, and he was literally a man among boys.

Also a really good person, as well. Had the chance to play pickup a few times down at the City Park back in the day.

There is NO question in my mind that Jeremaine could (should) have had a good career in the NFL. It just goes to show that sometimes talented players don't get with the "right" teams at the right time and sort of fall through the cracks. Still a HOF-type career in the CFL.
