I have never liked Jeremy Schapp and he just made me realise why. This morning on The Sports Reporters on ESPN, he was pretty much sayin Kiffin has no morals for saying the hostess recruiting scandal is a compliment. He said he may never win NC like his SEC counter parts, Meyer and Saban but if he wants to be the Jerry Tarkanian of college football, hes off to a good start. God what a douchebag!!!!

Well I see it this way, he is in NEW YORK. Last second replacement, and laughing through his last comments was the rest of the pannel.
Time is what CLK needs from US
Jabs are going to come
Respect is earned not given from reporters, beleive me they will shut up and so will all the other reports on VOL GATE when we start putting it on the other SEC Teams
But in the end 2-3 years from now, lets see what everyone is talking about.

Jeremy Schapp is a hack. He only has a job because of his Dad. Bobby Knight made him look like a fool interview several years ago, saying he wasn't his Daddy. He lost all journalism cred in that moment. Hilarious!

Remember what Bobby Knight said to him ? Something along the lines of " your not half the reporter your old man was " .

I disagree with you all on Jeremy Schapp, he's really the only one on ESPN that has some cred. Bob Knight made him look like fool because Knight is the biggest d-bag ever. Yeah, while I didnt like his comments about Kiffin.....who cares???? Having a coach like Kiffin he is going to be attacked, ALL THE TIME. Lets get some thick skin VolNation and when people like Jeremy Shcapp, New York Times, ESPN, etc. come after him lets laugh at them and support Kiffin. We are the rogue program that everyone will hate, now and 10yrs down the road.

I don't mind Jeremy. His Dad was a very nice guy, at least the one time I met him and talked with him. I became a fan of Dick Schapp that day.

I Dont beleive that, CLK earned his CREED from USC where they won a BCS BOWL

I do beleive CMK brings alot to the team, but what you are saying if it wasnt for CMK, CLK would not have this job?

No. Kiffin didn't have the track record to get our head gig without his dad. He will, however, have it in a few years.

Honestly, don't you tend to listen more to sports guys who say bad things about players, coachs or teams than someone who just says good things? It's easy and fun to rip and tear at Tennessee and Kiffin right now and boy, are all these geniuses piling on!
And if we are back on top in a few years (and I think now more than ever we will be) all these sportscasters won't be able to kiss Kiffin's keister enough.
So, like others here have said, let's just get thicker skins and wait. Payday's a'coming boys!

Oh well, at least thier talkin about us. I think it's been proven that the recruits could care less about what the analyst and papers say, they like kiffin and this staff and want to wear orange. Nothing else really matters

jeremy schapp....big deal. i dont think we should be worried about what some dorky little wet behind the ears reporter says about us. he can get in line behind everyone else to kiss our tail when we start winning. the line is starting to stretch around the corner.
