You don't bring in a grad transfer QB with one final year remaining to get himself to the pros possibly for him to sit on the bench unless the other guy is just really that much better. Chyst wasn't gonna go from being a starter to a backup. Just think he's our guy this year. And the non-commital stuff is to keep WV guessing, as well as us, as well as give JG a fair chance to improve and possibly win the job. Worst case scenario, JG is available if Chryst is hurt, and then if JG transfers, well, then Shrout has a year under his belt and in the weight room, and we'll work with it.
