-Kentucky starts 15 seniors. You can see it on both sides of the ball. We will have to be at our best and it will be a tremendous challenge for us.

-Saturday we didn't block very well and had some mental errors that we haven't had in quite some time.

-The health of our running backs is like everybody else. They have bumps and bruises but will be ready to play.

-Alontae Taylor has a lot to learn but is very willing and has a lot of natural ability.

-Benny Snell doesn't take a lot of one on one hits. It's tough to get him squared up and we'll have to do a lot of gang tackling.

-Kentucky has a lot of guys that have been there 3-4 years. They don't make a lot of mistakes and make you earn it.

-Kentucky's defense gives you a bunch of looks. They're good tacklers and can play man to man on the back end.

-Asked if he talked to his team about voting: "No I have not"

-On Taylor's hit: when he began the tackle he was aiming at the waist. There was never an intent to take a shot at a defenseless player.

-Trevon Flowers started doing some things last week. Will be a game day decision. Micah will start practicing this week so we'll see how that goes.

-Big plays come when you execute at a high level.

-It's hard to win in this league when you can't run the football, or any league. You've got to be committed to it and we have to find a way to get it done. If you're going to pass it every down the lineman can just pin their ears back.

-It's about how you produce. We are going to play the guys on the line that give us the best chance to win.

-We want to go out there every day and try to improve. Our guys have worked really hard to do that. How you play on Saturday's is how you're remembered. But to play good on Saturday's you have to prepare well during the week. We had a lot of mistakes Saturday, guys blocking the wrong folks.

-Kyle Phillips has worked really hard, practices hard. Plays with a good motor.

Tell me about it. I streamed the game last Saturday, and I probably watched that stupid Trump/Blackburn commercial at least 20 times. Some commercial breaks it played 3 times in a row.

I'll be glad when this political BS is over with.

Also, thanks Freak. You can tell that Pruitt is over doing these weekly PCs. He basically says the same thing every week. He gets asked the same questions each week. It's kind of like the reporters, coaches, and fans know where this team stands by now. Everyone knows the weaknesses and strengths, and there just isn't much left to discover.

Hell, I think it's carried over to this message board as well. Just the same 3-4 discussions every week. Hah

I am a bit surprised no one asked him to speak to the comments in the Adams column related to Fulmer's alleged on-field practice presence.

I can't think of a DUMBER question to ask a FB coach in the middle of a complete REBUILD....

Shocked that CJP doesn't ban that IDIOT for LIFE.....

I like this guy. I'll like him even more if he can get this team to mentally be where they are suppose to be and do what they are suppose to do. At least when you get the mental side of your position, you and everyone else will then get to see if you have the talent to do your job.

We had a lot of mistakes Saturday, guys blocking the wrong folks.

9 games in and they still don't know who to block...... I would also add that they do not know HOW to block either.

It's bewildering. Does something happen to any HS player who wanders in to the 865 area code and stays for more than 30 days? Even when we had all the NFL guys with Tiny etc, those guys would be standing around a ball carrier by 3s and 4s, while one guy makes a tackle on our rb or QB. It's been rinse and repeat for nearly a decade now.
I feel bad now for thinking how bad we were with the Sullins walk-ons. Crap, at least that group brought all they had. Not one OL group since.

Yeah man. Sometimes, as a coach, you can show, explain, correct and enforce all day and it just doesn't sink in. Seems like our linemen are having to think about all they're learning while they're playing instead of having it committed to muscle memory.

So you're saying COACHING is important? Hmmmmmm.

What you're guaranteed to hear from Pruitt on Mondays:
The opponent gives you a lot of different looks
Mental errors
It's hard to win the league when you don't run the football well.

Sounds like good news on Flowers and Abernathy as far as Missouri goes even if they don’t play much vs Kentucky.

Well, if true, this IS improvement. At least they blocked SOMEBODY! Gotta start somewhere.
