They guessed on the radio broadcast that an official in the booth called it in to the field. I know that if they miss one for us it remains missed.

I mentioned it earlier in the thread.

I'm sticking to my tin foil hat theory. That penalty got missed and wasn't called on the field. They got buzzed over their headsets.

Not collusion or any of that b.s. ...., UT/Banks wasn't a target per say, our chances of winning wasn't the reason the SEC giant heads buzzed it in.....

It was just SEC network optics protecting the brand. " You idiots are letting this game get out of hand & you missed a personal foul.....get both these teams under control now.."

When the announcers in the AU-KY game mentioned the "swinging gate play," I'll admit I immediately thought of Banks...

Regarding the late hit.... it should of been flagged but Banks was already committed to tackling the guy as well. He also barely tapped the guy. It’s not like he hit the it dirty like everyone is making it seem. Late hits happen.

Yet everyone is distraught. No one wants to talk about the 3 screen passes he absolutely destroyed during the game..... just the two penalties lol.

because these folks never played football. And btw, name your favorite LB and I am pretty sure they have been flagged themselves for a PF. It happens.

I noticed that on a couple of AT's plays. They weren't going to let him be stupid. I seem to remember one play where his teammates were herding him away.

Just rewatched the game. That face mask call was called soooooo late. They were already lined up for the next play.

Lol, just as an example when I played football I was on defense and the play was away from me. Kid hit me in my back as it was going away. I turned and politely.....told him I’d get him back for the cheap shot. Play went away again and I picked the kid up by his facemask and slammed him on the ground. Kid didn’t hit me in the back anymore after that.

Point being you can only take so much lol and sometimes you gotta stick up for yourself on the field.

It was so egregious that I had absolutely no problem with the late call.
