Jeremy Banks

I think Banks just needs more time playing defense to get his head into the game. He has all the skills in the world if he can just control his rage and focus it. He'll make some big plays for us this year.

So the South Carolina O-Line was getting away with Hands to the Face on Banks the entire night. Go back and watch the game in the second quarter with a little bit more then a minute left for an example of this. Banks finally snapped and ripped dudes helmet off after getting hands to the face the entire night.

I don’t blame him one bit.
He's got to control that. I like his fire but opposing players WILL BE coached to bait him all season long. If he doesn't get hold of himself, he'll be good for free yardage every game.

Hopefully CJP makes him understand this.

He's got the talent, but if he keeps racking up 30-45 yards of personal fouls per game then he's of little value other than on the scout team.

He let it go all game until that one time.... I’d like to think that is good self control. You can only take so much.

The USCe OL thrust his face mask against J. Bank's hand, causing his face mask to become entangled with Bank's fingers. Then the OL ducked, causing his head to completely pop out of the helmet.

Completely surprised by the unorthodox maneuver, J. Bank's recoiled. The helmet went astray when he recoiled, as if it had been purposely thrown.............

Kidding aside, there was no flag thrown on the field. I didn't see the flag(and the announcers never mentioned it)anyway & think the call came in over the refs headsets from upstairs.

"You idiots missed it. They're ripping helmets off now. Get this game under control before someone gets hurt."

If my tinfoil theory holds true, is it within the rules for an unsportsmanlike penalty to get called in from an official off the field?
Is that you, Saul? :)

There's a huge difference between aggressive and personal fouls...One is playing the game right - the other is playing the game wrong. We all like a feel good story but I agree if he doesnt get that under control (and I mean by next week) he'll need to take a seat for a long time. Henry T plays as aggressive as anyone but you see his understanding and leadership instead of "rage".

Didn’t realize Barnett was kicked off the team...or said cops got shot at where he’s from...

What does that have to do with the quality of his play? Pruitt allowed him to rejoin team, either you say Pruitt should be sanctioned for that or you just let it go.

You can’t win with guys getting senseless 15 TD penalties. Banks got two. The face mask one was terrible. You know from Pee Wee you don’t pull a face mask.

I thought Crouch made some plays also. Without 30 yds in stupid penalties.

Minus two plays, Banks was still way more active than Crouch, which is disappointing.

Crouch is a freak athlete. He needs to find a home either at ILB, OLB, or RB and start putting it together.

Other than the bone headed penalties I thought he played well. Thought he was our best linebacker when not making dumb penalties.
Banks is a stud. Best energy and I’ll take the penalties. Maybe crouch should go to offense as a power back. Didn’t seem to keep up
