Kid is bad a. He's going to have a lot of TDs this season.

Would hate to be a youngster in The Swamp getting my first start at corner for the gators and JJ is lined up opposite me.

Why can't we have nice things?

We have consistency? Just look for the positions of least depth and/or that have the team leaders. That's where the hits will come from. Jennings, Kelly being 2 of the names to watch.

I agree La. Taeler Dowdy went down and didn't really even move for the longest time. We started to move under cover and I didn't even see him get up off the field. Was he helped or or did he get up on his own?

He was helped off, he definitely messed his knee up pretty good. You could see it on the replay, it bent sideways at the knee, your leg isn't supposed to bend like that

Any update?
I agree. After watching the replay, I'm concerned about a medial collateral, but maybe just a strain. :crossfingers:

Most of the time a MCL or LCL tear is associated with an ACL tear too, very rarely just the LCL or MCL tear alone.

He walked off the field on his own power....Im not that worried

I played for 2 minutes with an intense pain and limp after tearing mine in 2012. I thought it was a sprain albeit the worst I'd ever had. Nope I was hobbling on a torn knee. Guys I was with all said same thing. Good thing you know it's not a torn acl or you couldn't move. Boy we were wrong.

Same way when I tore my ACL the first time. I was going to walk it off and continue playing (baseball) Next batter cracked one into left field and I was running from second to third base and it felt like I was running with a ball as my left leg, most unstable feeling ever.

Guys make it clear you're talking about the walk on (dowdy)running back's possible injury and not JJ.

Any idea how bad it is? Non contact has me worried it could be bad. Hoping he just twisted an ankle or something but he wasn't on the sidelines for the rest of the "game"

JJ was on the sidelines the rest of the time, trainer didn't even really look at him and he was moving around fine. May have been a slight tweak, but he has 3 months to get over it.
