Can someone make a gif of the screen to Byrd that he took for a big gain? Byrd danced around a couple guys then Jennings blocked one guy into the next. It was awesome if someone could make a gif I'd appreciate it.

He kind of whiffed on that block. But he about killed a db on Dobbs' second running Td.

you could make a book on insane blocks that Jennings has made this season.. remember the block earlier in the season against the 300LB Dt in the endzone cleaned that kids clock (think it was VT). I will keep saying it, he reminds me of Hines ward so much it isn't funny. If he is not jumping over guys snatching balls of defenders backs, pulling down hail mary's or pissing off DB's so bad they get ejected. The kid is a menace.

The fact that people want him OFF offense makes me very confused. Maybe he would be eventually a great safety... but he already well on his way to being a great WR. Bird in the hand and all. The argument for Byrd is kinda there because he hasn't established himself as much more than a potential situational weapon. We have plenty of talent at DB it just has to have a chance to stay healthy and develop.

This should have more stars.

No reason not to play him both ways. As for his defense ability, already knows as much as anyone in the defensive backfield. Just put him on the field, he knows what to do. On offense, when he is on the field, defenses have to pay attention to him if he is the target or not. Just put him on the field. Every once in a while a guy comes along that JUST KNOWS and he does. I think Jennings is one of them.

Hate to be that guy but if Byrd cuts it back at the 30 he had someone ahead of him to get a block and he scores a touchdown with ease. Either way it was a great play by some very good playmakers.

I love JJ and Byrd both. They both seem to have a chance to do big things here over the next couple years but, I've got a question for some of the people "in the know". What are the chances that Malone enters the NFL draft after this season. He has, somewhat, quietly put up a pretty good year so far and can still possibly pad his numbers a lot through the final games of this season. I would've started a separate thread but, darn, only 77 posts. I read more than post. I'm pretty sure he doesn't go 1st 2 or 3 rounds as of now but, definitely a later round pick at least, imo. If he were to ball out in the next couple games and make a big play or 2 in Atlanta, who knows?

Yep. I didn't really notice that particular block in real time, but when I watched the replay Jennings turns and levels a safety who was coming up behind Dobbs for the tackle just as he hit the 2nd level. Jennings and Crooms both were doing some serious road grading in the UK secondary to give Dobbs and the RBs some clear running lanes. Crooms is a serious mismatch for DBs.
