Jefferey Epstein found dead in jail cell

Whoopi Goldberg shuts down any links to Epstein while addressing name appearing in files on 'The View'

Co-host's name appears in 2013 email about a Monaco trip in which someone asked Epstein to offer her his private plane

"The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg addressed her name coming up in the Jeffrey Epstein files during the show on Tuesday, shutting down any link to the late convicted child sex offender.

"In the name of transparency," Goldberg began as she asked for the email to appear on the screen. "My name is in the files."

Goldberg's name is mentioned in an email from 2013, where someone says that she needs a plane to Monaco and that "John Lennon's charity is paying for it." Goldberg said that it should have said Julian Lennon's charity and explained that the email went on to ask Epstein if he would offer his private plane. The document released by the Justice Department showed Epstein responding with "no thnaks [sic]."

Co-host Joy Behar said Goldberg's point in addressing the message was that "anybody can be on this list."

No, but I was a director of operations for a GE power distribution plant and have played in 4 national USGA competitions. His wealth was absolutely amassed through public giving. How in the hell do you think college coaches get paid so much?

Knowing football didn't give him any knowledge of nuanced domestic culture, international culture nor anything remotely close to military culture
was? Are you retired now? VN has a pretty diverse group of professionals.

It's like a scene that didn't make the final cut of Idiocracy

"I am based. I have rizz. I am smart. I am charismatic. I have superior genetics. I am strong. I am bold. I am intense. I have large amounts of testosterone. I am never wrong. I don’t apologize. I am an alpha male."

Definitely...not...a...cult.

Has to be trolling. If that goofball Adams is serious, that might be the dumbest post I’ve ever seen and should never be taken seriously. I’ll wager you can count on one finger the number of times that Donald Trump has opened a Bible in his life. And that was when he was trying to find “Two Corinthians”. Or when he was trying to sell one that he autographed.

Co-host Joy Behar said Goldberg's point in addressing the message was that "anybody can be on this list."

"Well, this is my point! Because I’m telling you, when I tell you people are trying to turn me into, I wasn’t his girlfriend. I wasn’t his friend," Goldberg said, as Behar quipped she was "too old" for him. "I was not only too old, but it was at a time, you know, where this is just not – you used to have facts before you said stuff!"

When Behar then brought up President Donald Trump being in the files, Goldberg said she was speaking about herself.

"I’m speaking about me because I’m getting dragged," she said.

1. "Anybody can be on the list" - so everyone should be given the benefit of the doubt now?

2. "Too old" wasn't funny - Behar is a disgusting dbag.

3. " You used to have facts before you said stuff!"- Brought to you by a show that has to have staff on hand to correct the hosts, so they don't get sued. How many retractions are they up to?

4. "I’m speaking about me because I’m getting dragged," she said. - Oh so when you get dragged it's natural to defend yourself. I'll be damned.

Aaaaaaannnnnd… Lutnick still being a sitting cabinet member?

Still has zero reason to be in that role as no way he’s qualified. Plus it’s right there on the southern edge of the South China Sea so let’s not act like the geography doesn’t matter

Minor Ambassadorships have always been a reward. I'd bet money at least 3/4 of them (in our history) weren't qualified. Whatever it means to be qualified for one of those positions.
