Jefferey Epstein found dead in jail cell

'Hating someone is like drinking poison and hoping the other person dies.' Generally attributed to Buddha.

Luther, I really urge you to read this post of yours again. Feeling like this only hurts one person and it is not Trump. Read it as many time as it takes, my friend.
I read it 17 times before I posted and 23 more time just now.

Sounds pretty solid.

Oops. Trump just called for release of the files. Going to have to come up with a new conspiracy theory.

So he took a straw poll and found out it was happening anyway, lol.

I love how people think this loser concession erases 8 months of fighting the release. "Oops"

We already know Trump knew **** and kept going over to Epstein's and associating with him. Oops.

As a lawyer can you tell me what laws or restrictions that the Biden admin was restricted by in releasing the Epstein files during his term? And then can you tell me if those restrictions have been lifted by the courts and doJ or if they still apply currently?

I am unsure whether he is a lawyer or not but he doesn't even appear to know even the basics of what even a layman would know. The other guy out here most probably is a lawyer, although he is clearly insane himself.

Trump is the most hateful politician in US history and you have the nerve to support him and lecture people who oppose his hate.

I would say Lincoln. Btw, how is that strategy working out?

I'm sorry I didn't vote for the murderers, or the treasonous people or the people that take showers with their daughter.

Normally I hate repost AI

But this is relevant for this thread:
Anyone claiming “Trump is blocking the Epstein files” is ignoring the actual legal reality:

✅ 1. The SAME legal restrictions applied under Biden

Everything that prevented the Biden DOJ from releasing the Epstein materials is still in force now:

Grand Jury secrecy (Rule 6(e))

Court-ordered sealing and protective orders

Victim-privacy laws

Child-sexual-abuse material prohibitions

FOIA exemptions

Judicial control over unsealing

These are not political and cannot be overridden just because a different president is in office.

✅ 2. Biden did not release the files because he legally could not, not because he refused

Regardless of opinion, the Biden DOJ publicly stated the constraints, asked courts for guidance, and ultimately said they had “no legal basis” to release more.

Trump faces the same constraints.

✅ 3. Trump is actually pushing for more to be unsealed

The Trump DOJ has filed motions to unseal some Epstein records, particularly grand-jury materials — something the Biden DOJ did not pursue.

But judges are still blocking them for the same legal reasons they blocked Biden.

👉 So yes — blaming Trump for “blocking” the files is factually wrong.

It ignores:

The unchanged federal laws

The unchanged court sealing orders

The unchanged victim-protection rules

The judges, not the president, ultimately deciding what can or cannot be unsealed
Looks like the media did their job once again and has gotten the morons to follow the little ball. They could move it in any direction and they would track right along.

If Trump does not release the information we have what we got here (excluding the victim bashing).
If he tries to do so and goes against the Judicial branch, the No Kings thread would be where all the action is.

Long term? I think (hope) pretty well.

It will be a historical marker that there is a low to which people are ultimately not willing to stoop.

Of course, you are proof, you voted for murderers, treasonous people, 3 people that not only admitted to crimes on TV but of the highest levels of crimes in the country, and you voted for someone that clearly liked taking showers with his daughter.

Long term? I think (hope) pretty well.

Where you going next... voting for serial killers?

If you continue to talk about Trump, its not going to get better.

Funny things is that the only people directly implicated by the victims are all Dem or Dem supporters...

They're just loony. Mr. Chicken has it all figured out, if you would have voted for his murderers, treasonous people, liars, etc somehow life would be grand.

The Orange man exists only because of Mr. Chicken, but you can't convince a loon of anything.

Of course he is if you ignore the left saying what they have. We can start by "Elections have consequences" slide into "basket of deplorables" and from there the gate is wide open.

I'm old enough to remember when our politicians were somewhat cordial....would be nice if both sides got back to that.

If they would get back to actually trying to govern they might have a chance to have a side, but their extreme nature makes it so obvious we are dealing with a mental crisis. Who wants to be on the side of nuts, nuts.

Can you imagine putting up candidates so bad that people would choose Trump over them in multiple elections? So corrupt and dishonest that they'd trust Trump over them? So unhinged and incapable that they'd think Trump a safer vote?

I mean, I've never liked the guy. At all.

But given the choice between him and Hillary, Trump is the lesser **** sandwhich.
Given the deep state's possibly treasonous coup against him, he seems safer than the establishment.
Given "I sold my office to Ukraine" Biden, Trump looked safer.
Given Harris, Trump looked intelligent.

You see the side that's for sexually mutilating kids, putting males in bathrooms and boxing rings with girls, watching domestic violent extremists take our cities hostage and cheering them on, etc... And MAGA looks better, for ALL of its flaws.

Then it becomes even more convoluted, seeing that the accusations and reporting about him have pretty much invariably turned out to be lies and proof of a hate-filled "ends-justify-the-means" MO, we're left to basically just assume more lies and agenda until given really good reason.

The sad thing here is that the MAGA movement has grown (in both numbers and the amount of doubt they're willing to benefit) mainly because of the actions of the left. Yet it's the left that try to shame MAGA for refusing to kick Lucy's ball again.

yawn....

Can you imagine being a party so lost, angry, bitter, petty, and gullible that you would select trump from a field of 17 in your party's primary.
