I appreciate the sentiment. But there will still be homeless even if there is a provided residence for everyone in America.Use the money we're giving to Israel every year to provide them free housing. There problem solved.
For some reason we enjoy giving Israel free hand out but not our own people.
It wouldn't matter what the "average American" thinks or would welcome. It would only matter what the average Minnesotan or Dearborn resident welomes/thinks.
Return to local rule. As long as what MN or Dearborn is doing doesn't violate the BoRs the average American not living in either shouldn't GAF.
I love how sanctimonious people get when you challenge the special exceptions they give Israel that no other nation gets. Maybe you live in a fantasy world but here in the real world I see the likes of Matt Walsh and other conservative commentators rail every other day against immigrant groups accruing political power in certain cities. A recent favorite of his has been the mayoral race in Minnesota featuring a guy of Somalian descent:
Now you might be the exception that enjoys foreigners turning America into a vessel state to advance their own nation's interests. But most Americans don't like that for good reason. We want America to work for Americans first and foremost. Not the sentimental foreign interests of people with dual loyalty to other countries.
U.S. District Judge Richard Berman ruled that there is “clear precedent and sound purpose” for keeping grand jury records under seal, saying the government failed to show the Epstein papers demonstrate any “special circumstance” justifying their release.
He also noted that the government is already in possession of vast details about the case.
“The information contained in the Epstein grand jury transcripts pales in comparison to the Epstein investigation information and materials in the hands of the Department of Justice,” the judge wrote in a 14-page ruling.

You are an attorney. Not only that but he correctly pointed out the attempted fraud going on here. In the name of transparency the Bondi DOJ seeks release of 70 pages of over 100,000 documents when it could simply release the entirety.
Why doesn't it? There is only one viable answer. Trump is in there and is blocking it. Shame on Bondi for playing a role in this.
Judge Richard Berman said the Justice Department did not overcome long-standing precedent to keep grand jury materials sealed and noted that the information contained in the sealed materials is small relative to the entire investigation file already in DOJ’s hands.
“The information contained in the Epstein grand jury transcripts pales in comparison to the Epstein investigation information and materials in the hand of the Department of Justice,” the judge wrote.
He's blocking them. What's another viable answer other than Trump is blocking the release of the files?
He's blocking them.
Its poor logic to think there is anything overly incriminating in them. Otherwise Biden and the Dems would have released them.
So why is Trump blocking it? His sensitive ass ego. I'm sure there is something that discusses Trump and Epsteins relationship. Maybe even some stuff on the anonymous person who accused him of rape that later dropped here suit. But if it were big enough to sway large opinions Biden is releasing that news.
What legals steps has Trump taken to block the release??? He has committed to releasing it..just not on your timeframe..the only one legally blocking info now are Dems judges who could and have discretion per the law but refuse and are playing politics. As long as Trump releases them before his term he has fulfilled his promise. What's another viable answer other than Trump is blocking the release of the files?
