Its not the birthday card. Its the way he and his team continually dodge it, offer lame and meaningless distinctions, suggest that small portions, or parts they deem releasable (clearly trying to give themselves an out to hold back what they choose) that has so many people suspicious that he's in there and it's bad.

And as pointed out numerous times, its not just folks like me who really dislike Trump that think this. Skepticism of Trump's positions on this include many groups of Trump supporters.

The seriousness of what may have occurred has them setting aside their loyalty to him in favor of finding out if he engaged in misconduct.
