The bold is what I keep getting hung up on. Trump is 100% trying to sweep this under the rug, but I am not sold on it being because he was compromised by Epstein (though that could be an explanation). But there are so many other possibilities that would fit better. Why would he be so gung-ho about releasing the documents if he thought there was a possibility he would be implicated? One such possibility: the well could be poisoned. I don't believe for a second that this is all a hoax perpetrated by previous admins, but with all the alphabet agencies involved, there could definitely be some forged "evidence" slipped in with all of the legitimate stuff to muddy the waters, so that if the documents were to ever see the light of day, the public wouldn't know which way was up.

I have no illusions that MAGA folks agree with me.

But I do think its safe to conclude that this time around a large contingent in the MAGA faithful are actually willing to believe that it may be true, if for no other reason than that his history with women is so consistent with the possibility that he partook in some some sort bad shenanigans.

The clincher is the Stormy Daniels thing. He had an affair with her and paid her off. 90 % of people believe that to be the case. Its not much of a leap of logic to believe he had sex through Epstein with women he either knew or should have known were under age.

And if in the end his defense is he did have sex with a given girl but did not know she was 15, or whatever the case may be, it will be up to his base to decide whether they believe him. Given his history, I doubt seriously that I would believe him on such a topic given his long history of lying about such things.

You do realize there is zero evidence that shows he has interest in kids....you can say heade creepy comments etc but that's not proof....
Proof would be his daughter in her journal writing about in appropriate showers and it being verified valid and hers by a court of law....the. You can use that proof and the sniffing of children etc to make a case....see how it works.

My point is that even a significant portion of non MAGA people aren't as willing to believe any and everything negative toward Trump as you do.

I'm certainly not naive enough to think Trump incapable or above sleeping with young, even possibly underage women. But to be fair Epstein wasn't only offering underage women/girls.

I'm unaware that any file has been blocked. The grand jury testimony is not released because Bondi's team filed their motions in crayon, on the backs of cereal boxes.

So until the correct motion is filed, they are unavailable correct??? So why block releasing what is available now?? Aren't you of the opinion that blocking the Epstein file released is akin to admitting your involved or does that only apply to 1 side??

As for the Florida judge who blocked the release there...what judicial preceding would be needed in order to unseal those documents???

I'm saying that a reason that Dems may have shot down such a proposal -- and I dont know the particulars- is the perception that this is another doge, akin to the lame order to release the "pertinent" files.

Anything less than 100 percent is just going to fuel the fire. And that is directly because of Trump's actions and comments in the last 30 days or so.

A House Oversight panel subcommittee voted to subpoena Bill and Hillary Clinton for alleged links to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell.

The motion for subpoenas was issued by Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA) during a Federal Law Enforcement Subcommittee hearing on Wednesday. No roll call was taken, and the subpoena was approved by a Republican-led panel via voice vote. Per the New York Post:

The Clintons and several former top Justice Department officials – ex-FBI Director James Comey, one-time special counsel Robert Mueller and former attorneys general Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, Merrick Garland, Bill Barr, Jeff Sessions and Alberto Gonzales – were included in the list of subpoenas sought by Perry in order to “expand the full committees investigation into Ms. Maxwell.”

Former President Clinton acknowledged in his 2024 book Citizen: My Life After the White House that he flew aboard Epstein’s private plane, a.k.a. the Lolita Express, as part of his work with the Clinton Global Initiative nonprofit.

Epstein also visited the White House at least 17 times shortly after Clinton was sworn into office in 1993.

That'd be about 95% of politicians. Trump was a rich man and no doubt a playa in his day. He likely had woen throwing down at his feet with as much as the most popular of lead singers. He would not have been the first, nor will ever be the last to partake in shenanigans. Some even do it on conference room tables in DC gov't buildings.

Ethics and morals are never in the buffet offerings any of these people eat at. I'd even wager a lot of the 'incidents' are set ups to establish ownership of key individuals. But...there is a difference in affairs and underage pedo stuff. I'd be suspicious of anyone who was close to Epstein or went down there, but the possibility remains that not all people that did go preyed on underage girls...or boys. Sin is sin. And some sin is gross and illegal...in our culture. It wasn't that long ago, even on our own prairies, that girls were marrying off at that age.

The Left had ALL the Epstein crap...the ACTUAL evidence, lists, videos etc for Bidens term. Not what is now remaining of the evidence. Not redacted, altered, or currently missing evidence. ALL the evidence. They brought ZERO accusations or charges against Trump. None. Even while using all that lawfare to charge him on close to a hundred total counts of criminal charges across several states. EVEN after RAIDING Trumps home and agents even going through his wifes underwear drawer piece by piece. They NEVER brought anything against Trump regarding Epstein.

Unless you're retarded or completely eaten up with TDS, that fact in its self absolves Trump of being involved in Epstein sex crimes. Logic and reason DEMAND it.

The same Democrats who:

- faked the Steele dossier to fabricate the Russian collusion narrative

- lied in testimony to Congress (perjury style) about Trump and Russians

- raided his home looking for classified documents even though Biden himself had boxes and boxes of them at several different homes himself

- made up charges in dozens of counts regarding money Trump had borrowed to buy or develop properties in NYC...loans which Trump had already repaid and the banks were pleased. A practice used by every developer/builder in NYC to this day in estimating current property equity to get loans for new properties.

- wiretapped phones and bugged the NYC headquarters for Trumps political team. Far more egregiously than Watergate.

^^^ These SAME EXACT Democrats had ALL the REAL FILES and evidence from Epstein and never once made allegations of sexual crimes nor even attempted to charge Trump as being involved in ANY way with Epsteins abuse of underage girls. Nothing. Zero. Nada.

So to believe that NOW when the Trump administration has been given whatever remains of the REAL original files and evidence that Trump is refusing to release something because it implicates HIM is batsheit crazy. One has to completely abandon logic and reason to believe that. I have 600 contacts in my cellphone. Just checked. If I get arrested tomorrow for drug trafficking, child sex trafficking, or even espionage....does it mean that ANYONE in my contacts list is guilty by association? NO. Not to a sane adult. Now if you're like Bill Clinton and flew on Epsteins plane to the island about 30 times? OK. Probably something there.
