Or just trying to distance himself so he doesn't look bad.






And this is not a defense of Trump saying he did nothing wrong. It's just at this point there's no proof. A lot of people, especially reddit, is doing victory laps because they think his name being mentioned in the file equates to it's proof he's a pedo. But I don't think that info is in the file everyone is talking about. I hope the people that are guilty get convicted. Democrats, Republicans, actors, CEOs, ect. Don't care what they do. But I have my doubts as to whether that will happen.

I'm just not buying that its innocent. If it was, they'd have released it and gotten it behind them. Seems like every two days they come up with some gimmick, some distraction, some excuse.

He's been up against it before countless times and managed to ride it out. This feels different.

Incorrect. He's been proven innumerable times to lie. To cheat. To defraud people. Its a relentless drumbeat of an incredible dearth of character.

Thats why its so easy to believe that misconduct here is entirely consistent with the misogyny and leering creepiness he's demonstrated for 50 years.

Or would there always be something else that's hidden away?

I have the same question others have asked. If there was evidence Trump was a pedo don't you think someone in the Democrat party would have released it at some point in the past 9 years? Some of his victims come forward in the past 9 years? Someone press criminal charges in the past 9 years?

Yes, I know your answer. If they released it prior to the 2016 election, or during the Biden admin then it would implicate people they don't want to implicate because it's not just Trump. So then what makes you believe that same info would be released now, when Trump is president, and it still wouldn't implicate those same people the Democrats wanted to shield being the entire reason they didn't release it before?

That was a solid 90% wiff on my point. What you're suggesting is this big powerful conniving shadow oligarchy just has a huge self-destruction file lying around waiting for any person(s) not fully under their sway to reveal but figuring "Nah, it'll be fine.". That's actually pretty far out. Impossible? Perhaps not but step back a little and ask yourself if that's not a bit of an ask.

Nobody said the files contain "self-destructive" material. The Epstein files probably implicates Mossad as the masterminds behind the operation and other high level intelligence operatives in addition to the individuals being blackmailed. Its probably not gonna have Lord Rothschild's signature. If Mossad gets exposed it probably sets back their operations here in America but it probably doesn't result in oligarchs being burned at the stake.

Agencies like Mossad create plausible deniability. The evil oligarchs behind it can hide behind bureaucracy and compartmentalization. Just like how the Manhattan Project had millions of people working on it but only a few at the top knew the atomic bomb was being developed.

The motion for subpoenas was issued by Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA) during a Federal Law Enforcement Subcommittee hearing on Wednesday. No roll call was taken, and the subpoena was approved by a Republican-led panel via voice vote. Per the New York Post:

The Clintons and several former top Justice Department officials – ex-FBI Director James Comey, one-time special counsel Robert Mueller and former attorneys general Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, Merrick Garland, Bill Barr, Jeff Sessions and Alberto Gonzales – were included in the list of subpoenas sought by Perry in order to “expand the full committees investigation into Ms. Maxwell.”

this is not the first time they have done crap like this.

Like removing the individual ACA mandate. all Trumps admin had to do was file the paperwork properly, but they didn't. instead it turned into a much longer battle than it should have been before it eventually got removed. all so he could have a political talking point, while not actually risking any change.

Of course you would. Because you hate Trump, you'd believe the worst possible equation possible because of your prejudice.

I'm not saying you're right or wrong, just pointing out you can't possibly be the litmus test for having a reasonable stance on the topic.

I'm not sure this is different. But I do find it an odd coincidence that at the same time this scandal is developing that similar scandals are developing against the Clinton's and Obama.

It's this a warning that if side A continues to dig and pursue the scandal there will be retaliation?
