I don't know that I fully buy this, because the only GOP people I actually know that approve of this stuff are some of the nutjobs on this board. Absolutely nobody I know in person that leans right has been OK with this. Quote from one: "something really stinks about all of this Epstein stuff".

I've asked this before but never received a satisfactory answer. If some Tier 1 intelligence agencies were really involved wouldn't it make much more sense to have them scrubbed themselves off everything way back at the beginning when Epstein was exposed? Hell, why would they have ever had themselves in the official (meaning anything that would be available to "regular" government) in the first place? To have themselves exposed in some file that's been sitting around all this time seems more like The Goonies than the CIA/Mossad.

During the campaign , Trump is asked and agrees to release all Epstein materials (as he looks furtively to the side)

Bondi: there is a list of Epstein clients on my desk.

Days later, Trump and Bondi say there is no list of Epstein clients.

Trump says over and over that he was not friends with Epstein and had no real connection to him ... as there is a daily deluge of facts showing they were friends. Good friends at points.

Trump tells Bondi to release a tiny, tiny fraction of material.

Trump takes position that hes not in there. But then says if he is it is made up documents.

Trump blasts his own supporters who dare cast doubt on what hes saying.

GOP leadership circle the wagons to prevent calls for release of it all, including shutting down the House to prevent GOP sponsored bills to force the issue.

Trump again claims hes not in there but if he is its fake.

Trump blames MAGA's favorite boogeyman Obama.

A list can be released without releasing a full list. I find it really hard to believe if Trump was in the files with damning evidence, that Trump and some low level players would have been outed already.

People act like it’s all or nothing.

Edit: I'm glad that the right, including his more rational supporters aren't letting him off the hook. They'll tell you they hired him to drain the swamp and for transparency - and he's handled this in the sketchiest ass way imaginable. He should be held accountable for protecting the pedo's identity(s).
