Jefferey Epstein found dead in jail cell

You state the bolded like it's a fact. I'm not convinced. If Trump was listed we know that page would have been leaked during the election. The fact that it wasn't tells me he's not implicated. I do think Prince Andrew and possibly others in the royal family are implicated but that's just speculation

We know for a fact that Trump is named in the Epstein files because they released some of the flight logs and Trump was on them 7x.

Your logic also ignores the reality that mutually assured destruction might be why Trump hasn't had anything more incriminating released. The Epstein narrative the entire time has been that there is dirt on both sides, and this can never come out. Here we are half a dozen years later and people can't reason their way through why nobody would dish on Trump, and conclude that the guy covering things up must be innocent.

Alan Dershowitz has cleared this thing up with this article in the WSJ. He was Epstein's lawyer so he knows what the facts are here:

I did find this surprising:

Why would he hang himself over 1.5 yrs? How does he get off with that when his girlfriend got 20 yrs?

Dershowitz does think that Epstein was assisted in committing suicide:

This pretty well puts this story to bed.
Didn’t Dershowitz admit to getting a message at Epstein’s townhouse? Dershowitz should probably stay at least 100 yards from a school zone.

Yep. This ain’t rocket science. If there’s nothing there, release it and end this farce once and for all. Looks to me like there are things there that powerful people don’t want out in the open. That includes Trump.
MAGA has been complaining about the Deep State for years, turns out Trump and Bondi are the Deep State.

The deep state tried to assassinate Trump and cover it up. I find it incredibly difficult to believe they had knowledge of his involvement in a pedo extortion ring and just decided to sit on it. It also just doesn't make sense that the Trump admin would have made such a show out of going after Epstein a few months ago if they suspected Trump would be in the files. If they had any inkling that Trump would be implicated, they just would have dropped it and never talked about it again. For these reasons, I'm very reluctant to believe he's in the files as anything other than an acquaintance. However, it is plainly obvious that he is bending the knee to some unseen force/coalition. It must have been a pretty convincing pitch, because he has basically chosen the path of nuking his legacy as president rather than delivering on his promise to uncover the Epstein scandal.

Dershowitz's name has been in the Epstein conspiracies for at least 9 years. When Trump lawyered up with Dersh, it really put a damper on the Qanon thing.

The hope is that this is a low we bounce back from, much like an FDR. I think this trend exists and has always existed.

- most every president retains most of the power of his predecessor and adds a little more in the process.
- each president, generally speaking, gets a little bit further from the distinguished gentlemen diplomats we believe Jefferson and Washington to be.
- over time, we tend to soften how we view them....

But the FDR's, the Lincolns, the Wilson's the FDR's, and the Trump's, who take huge actions exacting massive changes and skirting traditional checks and balances....they're never followed by somebody as active as they are. It's a return to normalcy. Yeah, the baseline has shifted. But I don't expect things to be so nutty. I think the weirdness of Biden and Trump are exceptions to the rule. I think we'll have a JD Vance vs. AOC or something like that, and it's not going to be nearly as wild as things have been.

I think this back to back wackiness is the result of electing guys who live in adult diapers.
The details and definitions of "huge actions and massive changes that skirt traditional checks and balances" is obviously a pretty important consideration in your hope. I just don't see what Trump is doing as huge actions or massive changes or skirting traditional checks.... at least no more so than the other recent presidents.

Not talking about what he says I'm talking about what is actually applied.

I am bereft of hope it will improve. In fact I am reasonably certain it's going to continue to get worse

District judges can no longer stay a policy that violates the bill of rights, which is a huge deal and massive change.

The expansion of ICE...it's now more well-funded than every military on earth except China and the US. This is a massive expansion. DHS is out of control.

Breaking precedent by calling in national guard and marines to cities that didn't want them. I guess that's going to be fair game now.

Breaking precedent with press access. Using every mechanism possible to punish a free press that opposes him.

The level of misinformation is at an all-time high, and we can that say that includes the Biden admin.

Precedents broken with how universities and their research are funded.

Bombing Iran was nuts. He just did it. He wasn't supposed to. And nothing happened. We all knew this is how it works, but now we really, really know (and so does the next guy who wants to do it).

I don't think people realize how wild this **** is, and we're 6 months in.

Flight logs mean nothing. It doesn't mean that he's mentioned anywhere in "the files" as in what's not been released.

The Biden Administration had the Epstein Files for 4 years. If there was anything there that implicated Trump they would have leaked it. Did you not notice that the Dems would stop at nothing to keep Trump from winning the Presidency?

He sounds desperate and distraught every time it's brought up.

Coincidence the Comey family is involved, I’m sure out of 350M people.
You mean the person who secured convictions against both of them. As supposed to the person who gave Epstein a pass in Florida and then got a cabinet job under Trump. I don't think that's the way to sell this

2007? Remind me of the political players again. Bad move for Trump to bring Acosta on board, good move to let him go.

Diddy is about to walk, Epstein is dead and Maxwell isn’t speaking.

Do you give someone credit for firing someone for something they knew they already did prior to hiring them? That seems strange
